If so you should come check out our Lady Wildcat’s 8th grade night. Then stay tuned for regionals. I found out multiple things after interviewing people including starting point guard Jaitlyn White of the 7th grade team, starting center Emilee Eller of the 8th grade team, and the coaches (Mr. Schwartz and Ms. Gill). I learned that they have improved on multiple things since the start of the season. They’re a lot less sloppy according to the coaches. Be on the lookout for our lady wildcats at regionals. It’s a great day to be a WJHS wildcat!! Below: Seventh grade Lady Wildcats in action. Photo By: Hunter Lange Looking to the Future! By: Madison Jones On October 6th and 7th the eighth graders went on a field trip to DACC to learn about careers. They split up into two groups when they got there. One group worked “handson” in areas such as graphic art design, nutrition, electronics, and manufacturing. Students spent time in the computer lab taking a survey that led them to their top forty possible careers. They learned about good and bad choices . One of the facilitators said, “You have a lot more control over your life than you think you do.” If the students weren’t at DACC they were at WHS with Ms.Clow learning the seven habits of highly effective teenagers. The students participated in several activities involving solving problem skills and teamwork. Pictures on next page.
