You must have started making plans to visit your grandparents, relatives and friends, watching movies, taking a dip in the swimming pool and joining some activity classes with your friends. We are giving you a variety of fun-filled activities which you can do during the noon time. Do them neatly and submit them to your teachers after the vacation. Project/Homework will be assessed on the basis of neatness, creativity and originality of ideas. Ask them about the effects of soil erosion on the farming and what protective measures they take to avoid soil erosion. 8. Read Ch.- 4 , 5 and 6. Do difficult words of Ch.- 4 in the science notebook. SUBJECT – SOCIAL SCIENCE * Revise whole syllabus done in the class. * Read one chapter daily and find out 10 difficult words. Write and learn their meanings. * Visit any one monument with your elders. Write few sentences on it. Paste few pictures also. * Make 5 flash cards on ‘Our motherland’ and learn few sentences for spoken activity in the class. * Make a project on ‘Our Country’ in project file. Paste pictures also (Pages 4 to 5). * Make a collage of ‘Himalayas’. * Make a table on chart showing States in the Northern Plains with their Capitals. Paste one picture of prominent building or person related to that State. * Read Newspaper daily. * Do H.H.W. in a Separate notebook. SUBJECT – DRAWING * Make 5 big size beautiful flowers using OHP SHEET (GLASS PAPER). * Colour them with glass colour. * Use one sheet for one flower. * Decorate them with 3 D Tube of golden and silver. * This work is for Formative Assessment-2 and carries 25 marks. SUBJECT – G.K. * Paste cutting of 2 News headlines daily in a separate notebook. * Name 5 world’s best monuments. Paste their pictures and write few lines on it. *Write minimum / maximum temp. daily.
