ETSI’s event for Industry Test Automation announced
From users to users in the ICT world
Sophia Antipolis, 11 June, 2014: This year, the international ETSI User Conference on
Advanced Automated Testing (UCAAT) will be held in Munich between September 16 and 18.
Dedicated to advanced test automation, the upcoming conference will cover a variety of
activity sectors. Jointly organized by ETSI Technical Committee “Methods for Testing and
Specification” (TC MTS) and QualityMinds, a software testing company, the conference will
introduce the latest innovations made in test automation. These will cover cloud and modelbased testing, testing languages and methodology, web services, as well as automotive,
medical, security and safety or cyber-physical systems.
“There are numerous academic conferences and workshops on automated testing but test
experts are in need of an event dedicated to addressing engineering and application aspects of
test methodologies, and advanced test automation. UCAAT fills this gap” says Program Chair,
Andrej Pietschker.
Tutorials and business cases showing large scale applications and innovative approaches make
it a fruitful and highly practical experience for all attendees.
This year’s event will feature a special session on Standardization in Testing, an open
interactive session hosted by ETSI Technical Committee “Methods for Testing and Specification”
(TC MTS) on the first day of the conference. Industrial users as well as academic and
standardization experts will be able to share their experiences and expectations on the need
and role of standardization in testing.
Whether you are a test designer, an engineer working in test specification and automation, a
beginner or a testing expert, a quality and/or project manager, come to UCAAT to share
knowledge and best practices in the industrial use of test automation!
