Two great Ladies work there.
Volunteer Centre has been of. immence value to our
organisation. We got host families.a new committee
member and much help with Fundraising events, all of
which we are very grateful for.
Angela and terri are very helpful and follow up on
volunteers referred.

We hope to be able to work with the Volunteer Centre
again in the future
Its fantastic to have the on going background support of
the ladies in LVC. I have found it be an excellent support
network & friendly service. No question is too big or too
small for Angela or Terri. In my opinion, its a great
community resource
Are there any recommendations/
suggestions you would like to make?
Keep doing what they do
Important to place volunteers that are appropriate to
specific areas. Not all people are suitable people to
volunteer in particular areas. Screening Volunteers on their
suitability would be very important as well as ascertaining
whether they are truly interested or not before
recommending them to other organisations
Sometimes volunteers referred have little knowledge of the
project and are not sure what they are signing up for, some
volunteers are not suitable for volunteering opportunities
we offer.
We hope you will remember us if you need support for
mental health work
Id love more marketing training- I spoke to Angela
regarding this and she is going to follow up on this with
me. This is another example of their friendly & helpful
approach
