Welcome to the 2016 Fishing Derby and Fly Fishing Merit Badge weekend at Deer Lake.
The fine art of Fly Fishing will be taught by the Housatonic Fly Fishermen’s Association.
The program will be held at the Halliwell Training Center. The scouts will bunk in the Point Cabin.
The $40.00 price for the weekend includes Fishing Derby Patch, Instructions and meals (Sat.& Sun.)
PREREQUISITES
Secure the FLY Fishing Merit Badge Book, Read and Study the Requirements.
PRACTICE ALL OF THE FISHING KNOTS AND KNOW THEIR USES
NOTE: CHECK-IN TIME
AT THE POINT CABIN FRIDAY BETWEEN 5:30 & 6:30pm (Fri. supper not provided)
CHECK-OUT TIME
AT HALLIWELL TRAINING CENTER SUNDAY NOON
Be sure that you are on time or you will miss part of the program and may not be able to complete the merit badge.
