PourGlazeCoatIMMEDIATELYontothecenterofthesurfacetobecovered.Donot
allowitto“sit“.Youhaveabout15-20minutesworkingtimebeforeproductbeginstoharden.
Spreadthemixtureovertheareawithaplasticspreader,plasticsqueegee,notchedtrowelor
brush.Ifcoatingalargesurfacesuchastables,bartops,etc.,anotchedsqueegeeortrowelworks
well.Pourmixtureonsurfaceandspreadevenlyusingacombingactioninonedirectionover
entiresurface.Donotpersistinre-spreadingthemixtureasitsetsup,otherwiseitwillnotselflevelduringthecuringaction.
Donotpourmorethan1/8”thickinanapplication.Mixonlyasmuchasyoucanpourandspread
atonetime.

Step4:SurfaceBubbles
Atinitialpour,airbubblescreatedduringthemixingprocesswillusuallyrisetothesurfaceby
themselvesanddisappear.However,becauseGlazeCoatisverythick,itisusuallynecessaryto
helpthisprocessalongimmediatelyafterpouringandspreading.SurfacebubblesMUSTbe
removedwhensurfaceisstillwet,notoncesurfacebeginsthecuringprocessorelsebubbleswill
turnintodimplesoncefullycured.Blowgentlyonthesurfacetoforcebubblesupandaway.
Forlargerareas,useasmall,handheldpropanetorch.Keepflame6to8inchesabovesurface.
MovetorchoverfreshlypouredGlazeCoatseveraltimesuntilsurfaceisbubblefree.Besureto
useawavingactionsothesurfaceisonlyslightlywarmed,allowingremainingairbubblesto
disappear.Donotholdflameinonearea.
Step5:Curing
Toachievebestresults,applyattemperaturesbetween70and80°F.BothGlazeCoatandthe
itemtobecoatedshouldbeapproximatelythesametemperature.
NOTE:Thesecuringtimesaretobeusedasguidelinesonly.Warmertemperatureswillyield
fastercuretimes.
