Halloween
Please find attached a poster raising awareness of the potential dangers of Halloween/fancy
dress costumes coming into contact with naked flames and information to look out for when
buying these types of costume, and also a poster regarding the potential dangers of ‘button’ batteries.
Christmas Squash Camp
Please see attached poster with all the details about this Christmas Camp. This is for 10 to 15
year olds.

Geography Club
Geography Club after half term open to all year groups on Tuesday (Mr McKenna) and Thursday (Mr Roberts).
Choir
The College Choir meets on a Tuesday and Friday lunchtime. 1-1.30pm. All students are welcome. Students are asked to bring a packed lunch on both days.

The Year 7 Peary/Rhodes Parents Evening will take place on the 22nd November and the 7 Scott/
Stanley Parents Evening will take place on the 23rd November. Full details and information on
how to book an appointment will be sent out in due course.
Sixth Form Options Evening For Year 11 Parents
This will be taking place on Wednesday 9th November, Year 11 parents will receive notification of
the arrangements for this evening in due course.

Year 11 Mock Examinations
Please find attached the Y11 Mock timetable. Pupils should check the location of their examination as it maybe different to their normal classroom. Pupils should have appropriate revision
materials for all lessons.
Year 11 Music Students
Support sessions with Mr Wood – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 1pm -1.30pm
Support sessions with Mr. Pallot – Tuesday and Thursdays 3.30 - 4.30pm
1st X1 Tour of Guernsey.
A massive congratulations to all the boys of the school 1st X1 football team who went to Guernsey
during the week. They played three extremely tough games in three days and won every game.
The results were as follows:
Guernsey Grammar 1 De La Salle 4
Elizabeth College 3 De La Salle 6
Guernsey College of Further Education 1 De La Salle 2.
Having to play three games in such quick succession has always been very tough, this is one of
the only occasions that a De La Salle team has managed to win every game on tour, so well done
to all the boys for their effort and commitment.
