Response w/ Delayed Adjectives
I tried to calm her down, distraught as she was. I
told her, with a forced calm, to take some deep
breaths. She told me, sad and confused, the
latest tale in her boyfriend drama. Her
boyfriend, a hopeless liar, had gone out with
another girl. She thought the relationship was
over for sure, doomed and unsalvageable.
