Meet GINA
one of our amazing volunteers!
If you stop in to the Community Policing Office
in Pitt Meadows, chances are you’ll get to meet
Gina. She is one of our volunteers has been a
great asset to the CPO.
“I didn’t have a lot of time to volunteer when I
was working, so this is how I like to spend my
time now that I’m retired,” she says. “Volunteering at the CPO just fit my interests, and I also
volunteer for a few other organizations locally.
Now that I have the time, I’m just happy to be
able to give back to the community this way.”
Gina is a 30-year resident of Pitt Meadows and loves the community. She says
she is amazed at the growth and development in Pitt Meadows over the years.
“It used to be very small and rural. I remember when we got our first ATM
machine, and there was a sign out on Lougheed Highway advertising it!”
Gina works in our office helping residents with safety and crime prevention
information, assisting with criminal background checks and much more. Thank
you, Gina, for all the work you do for community policing in Pitt Meadows!
