1. Chad Collins provided general announcements and notices AIN had received since the
last meeting. See attached.
2. Presentation by Keith Wheeler, manager of Little Rock’s ARMA Design office. ARMA
is a contract design house that specializes in electronics engineering. They design
computers, logic, and circuits for all types of new products including toys, medical,
military, and industrial items. Clients range from large businesses to independent
inventors. Typical rate is $100-150 per hour. A simple product would cost in the $10K$20K range. Terms are typically 50% down and 50% at completion. All software, info,
and designs generated are the property of the client. Does not normally take a financial
interest in any projects. They also have the ability to do rapid prototyping of enclosures &
components. 5 cubic inches costs around $200.
