THE SPACE RACE
Did you know the first man on the moon? Let me tell you why.Did
the Space Race was a very important event history?
Neil Armstrong(first man on the moon) was a very important
astronaut because he was the first man to walk on the moon.
However, Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon but, Buzz
Aldan (was the second man on the moon).The only reason he was
second was because he got off the space ship after Neil Armstrong.
The space race was a very important event because we gained better
technology.We also got a feel for space.The main countries were
the Usa and Russia. We had a big problem because at the time
Russia sent Sputnik 1 in space
So its first orbit was a success, and we saw this as a threat and had
to catch up. So we sent Neil Armstrong to space. Then, Buzz Aldan
went to and we caught up! The Space Race happened all through
1957-1975. The space Race was a competition between nations.
USA entered the space race January 31 1961.

The Russians had launched a dog into space. To see if it was safe.
Sadly for the dog it over heated and died. Russia became a dog
killer because the dog over heated and died.
Some of the people in the space race were Neil Arm strong John F.
Kennedy( president of the united sates ), Nikita Khrushchev,
Edward Teller, Robert, Richard Nixon, Wernervon Bran, Sergei
Kordev, John gliann, Klaus Elin and Buzz Aldan( second man on
the moon ).
Nasa(hq of space launching) is a big help to life and still affects us
now, because we have a successful satellite.The space race has
affected us, also by exploring space. Did one of the first rockets
crashed to the ground?
