® the Healthy Kids Club Fall 2012 Counting with Count Dracula Did you know that there is more than one way to count your money? Except for the penny, each piece of United States currency can be recreated using other forms of our money. Take for example the one dollar bill. George Washington’s paper form isn’t the only way to create one dollar. You could use quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies to get to the same amount. One Dollar Bill = 100 pennies = 20 nickels = 10 dimes = 4 quarters Sometimes what may sound like a lot, like 50 pennies, can actually be less than what it is being compared to, like 10 dimes. Let’s Talk Turkey! Check your math skills with this fun turkey exercise! Complete each math problem below. - + Turkeys x Turkeys Turkeys Spook-tacular Maze Check out the exercises to the right.
