Tone channel selective level meter LM-534B

LM-534B
Tone channel selective level meter
Auto-sweep function enables automated measurement of all channels!
Output of selected channel signals is enabled!
[Overview]
[Features]
There are cases where multiple channel signals
(determined by frequency band) are multiplexed to
transfer on a single transmission line of remote
monitoring control equipment, telemeter, etc.
When signal levels of a specific channel are measured
on this kind of transmission lines using an ordinary flat
level meter, the other signals should be stopped.
However, LM-534B does not require stopping other
signals so that a specific channel signal level can be
easily measured.
Signal-out function (signal output) enables outputting
signals of a specific channel; so, if you use it together
with a level variation recorder, it enables monitoring of a
specific channel for a long period of time.
◆ Various filters such as 50 baud (18 CH) ,200 baud (8 CH),300 baud
(2 CH),600 baud (3 CH),1200 baud (1 CH) and f0 ±50 Hz (200 Hz
to 4 kHz in 50 Hz step) are provided.
◆ Just a single operation enables starting measurement of each channel
out of multiplexed signals.
◆ The band-pass filter of f0 ±50 Hz (f0: 200 Hz to 4 kHz in in 50 Hz
step) enables measuring single-frequency signals used in control
signal, etc.
◆ Switching to a flat level meter enables measuring the total level of all
channels.
◆ Auto-sweep function provides automatic measurement of all channels
(CH) of each filter and stores them to memory.
◆ Peak hold function records max. and min. values; so, it provides easy
checking of level fluctuation.
◆ Setting input impedance to HIGH enables measuring a line where DC
is superimposed.
◆ Measurement results saved to MMC (multimedia card) in CSV format
can be transfered to a PC and edited with spreadsheet software.
◆ Small-sized and handy.
◆ Dry cell battery can be used in addition to the attached AC adapter.
Successor to LM-534.
[Differences]
- LM-534B: Supports only printers for outputting measurement
results to an external device.
- LM-534B: Supports only MMC for outputting measurement
results to an external device.

Functionality
◆ Signal-out (signal output) function
Signal-out (signal output) function enables outputting signals of a specific channel.
Transferring these signals to a connected level variation recorder (our DLR-202, etc.)
enables the long-term measurement of level fluctuation.

◆ Auto-sweep function
Measure consecutive signal levels in multiplexed signals of each channel automatically.
Measurement data is saved to memory.
◆ Monitoring of specific frequency with band-pass filter
Band-pass filter enables measuring signal levels automatically up to 77 points (200 Hz to 4 kHz frequency band in
50 Hz step).
It is best fitted for monitoring of signal level of a specific frequency (monitoring control signal, etc.) and measuring
noise components of a communication line.
◆ Saving measurement results
Measurement results can be saved to MMC (multimedia card) in CSV format.
Measurement results saved in MMC can be edited with spreadsheet software on a PC.
