Gingerbread Reindeer
You will need
350g
1 tsp
3 tsp

4 tbsp
flour
bicarbonate of soda
ground ginger
butter
light soft brown sugar
egg
golden syrup
icing
decorations

Ask a grown-up to pre-heat an
oven to 190°C fan / gas mark 6.

Sprinkle your worktop with
plenty of flour and using a
rolling pin, roll out the dough to
about the width of a pencil.

First, put all your dry ingredients
into a mixing bowl, then add all
your wet ingredients and stir until
you have a firm dough.

Use a cutter to cut out your
gingerbread men and place
them spaced out on a lined
baking tray.
Ask a grown-up to put the tray in
the oven and bake for 10-15
minutes until golden brown. Once
baked and cooled, decorate your
gingerbread reindeer and enjoy!
