SYLVAN PAGE PER DAY SUMMER CONTEST:
I. HOW TO ENTER: This sweepstakes is open to all eligible registrants of the Sylvan monthly e-newsletter. If you have not
yet registered, you may do so at SylvanPagePerDay.com from 12:01 A.M. (EST) on May 1, 2012, through 11:59 P.M. (EST) on
September 15, 2012. You must register within this period to be eligible for entry. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.
II. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Puerto Rico and Quebec),
who are at least 18 years of age on May 1, 2012. Employees of Random House, Inc. and Sylvan Learning, their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, and agencies, and their immediate family members and person living in their household are not eligible
to enter this sweepstakes. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
III. PRIZES: One (1) grand prize winner will be awarded a gift card in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500). Ten (10) runnersup will each be awarded a collection of Random House children’s books, as chosen by the Random House Children’s Group
in accordance with the age/grade of each runner-up’s child. Taxes on the prize, if any, are the winner’s sole responsibility. No
substitution or transfer of the prizes will be permitted, except by sponsor in its sole discretion.
IV. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Winners will be chosen at random on or about September 16, 2012, from
all eligible entries received by the entry deadline. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winners
will be notified by email and will be required to sign and return affidavit(s) of eligibility and release of liability within ten (10) days
of notification. Noncompliance within that time period or failure to make contact with the winner for any reason within three
(3) business days of notification will result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner. In the event of any other
noncompliance with these official rules, sponsor may, at its discretion, select an alternate winner. If the potential winner selected
is a Canadian resident, s/he must, unaided, correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. In the event
that s/he is unable to correctly answer the skill-testing question, sponsor shall have the right to randomly draw another eligible
entrant, and the sponsor shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard.
V. ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS: Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect,
delay in operation or transmission, communications-line failure, or the theft destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of
entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines; computer online
systems, servers, or providers; computer equipment or software; or failure of email or entry on account of technical problems or
traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to the entrant’s or to any
person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials from sponsor’s website or sweepstakes.
By participating, all entrants agree to abide by these official rules. Entrants further agree that sponsor, its parent company,
assigns, subsidiaries and affiliates, and advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies will have no liability whatsoever, and
will be held harmless by entrants for any liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to person and property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of the prizes, or participation in
this sweepstakes. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for sponsor to publish, post online, or otherwise refer to the
name of the winner in any and all forms and media throughout the world, and for any and all publicity or promotional purposes,
without obligation or compensation, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion to cancel,
terminate, modify, or suspend this sweepstakes and the official rules.
VI. WINNER’S LIST: For the name of the winner, available after September 30, 2012, please send a stamped, self-addressed

October 31, 2012. Washington and Vermont residents may omit return postage.
