Go! Go! Stop! v When The Leaf Blew In Dear Parents: Our classroom has been very busy. We have been discussing the fall season. Our sensory play included black play dough, apple pie play dough, beach dough, water, and sand. These materials gave the children the opportunity to explore a variety of textures and properties. Our art activities included creating fall trees using glue and colorful paper, painting with golf balls on paper leaves, and experimenting with still life art using paint and pumpkins. Our cooking activity was applesauce. Our science exploration was Float and Sink. The children love discovering which items will sink or float. We also explored the concepts loud and soft. The children had a super fun time participating in Hop Around the Pumpkin, Ring Around the Pumpkin, Red Light Green Light, and Spider Web Walking Game. These group games develop their gross motor skills and promote cooperation with peers. Love, Kelly & Jeanne
