DIOCESAN SERVICES APPEAL
whole diocese.
The Diocesan Services Appeal is underway in our parish and throughout the
Thank you to those who have filled out a Diocesan Services Appeal Envelope. No gift is too
small. Thus far, 216 families have responded. Our parish "fair share" this year is $42,272, which is $3,500 less
than last year. We have $30,000 in pledges, which represents about 70% of our goal. Please complete an
envelope, even if you are unable to donate. We would like to have 100% participation!
The diocese depends on
every parishioners support to make this appeal a success. Remember, stewardship of God's gifts to you should
involve our diocese as well as our parish. We can make our goal! Thank you for your generosity in giving to the
DSA.
RCIA - CITY OF SUPERIOR

Catholic to attend Mass with you at Christmas. The next RCIA session is scheduled for Sunday, December 6th,
beginning at 7 PM at Holy Assumption Parish.
For more information contact Dick or Judy Lyons, coordinators of
the RCIA process, at 1-888-820-8963.

SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT dePAUL This weekend at all of the area Catholic Churches there is an envelope
attached to the bulletins and graciously all of the parishes have agreed to a second collection the weekend of
November 28-29. This is our annual appeal to serve the needs of our brothers and sisters in our community.
Prayerfully consider a gift - large or small. Know that your gift will enable families to secure housing, continue to
have basic utilities and to have other needs addressed without our community.
Everyone is welcome to attend our next meeting on Tuesday, November 24th, 6:30 PM at the Catholic Charities
Building, 1416 Cumming Avenue.
COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING SERVICE is being held on Sunday, November 22nd at 3:00 PM at Faith United
