Keep critical data secure with My Contacts Backup.
The contact information you have stored in your phone is precious.
Losing your phone would be sad, but losing all your contacts could
be a disaster. You can easily back-up all of you contact information
with U.S. Cellular.

Start by sliding over to
the panel to the left of
the Home screen. Find and
tap on the My Contacts
Backup application icon.

The first time you use this
app, a landing screen will
appear briefly and then
the set-up process will
begin to load.

Then a screen will appear
that shows you the U.S.
Cellular online url where
you can view and edit
your contacts. Tap next
to continue.

There are some terms and
conditions you’ll have to
agree to before using this
application. Tap Yes to
continue.

In order to have secure
access to your contacts
online, you’ll have to
establish a Personal
Identification Number
– a PIN.

Tap the input box and a
keyboard will pop up for
you to use. Enter a PIN
that is at least four digits
long and write it down for
reference later.

If you already have a My
Contacts Backup PIN
assigned to this phone
number, use that one.
After entering your PIN,
tap the Done key to save it

...and then tap OK.

If you have used My Contacts Backup before, this screen will tell you that you
have contacts to add to your phone.
If you have not used My Contacts Backup before, you will not see this screen and
there will not be any contacts to bring down to your phone. Instead, My Contacts
Backup will save the contacts already in your phone for safe keeping.

Tap Yes to restore the
contacts you have stored
online and backup the
contacts already in your
phone.

A screen will summarize
what the app has done.
Tap OK to exit this screen.

After the initial setup, the
app will give you access to
various functions through
this screen. To leave this
app, just tap Exit.
