GENERAL INFORMATION Integrated System in Healthcare for Research (iSHaRe) is a SingHealth platform for investigators, administrators and institutions to track, monitor and manage their research portfolios more efficiently. With effective from 15 September 2014, all new CIRB applications have to be submitted via iSHaRe eCIRB for review and approval. To start creating new applications via iSHaRe e-CIRB, one would first need to register for an iSHaRe account. This User-Guidebook is aimed to guide the users (i.e. Principle Investigators, Site-Principal Investigators, Co-Investigators, Study Team Members and Protocol Administrators) in the registration of their iSHaRe accounts. The minimal system requirements are: Microsoft Window 7 and above Internet Explorer 9 and above iSHaRe does not support Window XP system and Internet Explorer 8. 1.2 Contact Us If you have any queries, please contact [email protected]. GETTING STARTED This section provides step-by-step procedures to guide users (both internal and external), who have not used iSHaRe before, in their registration of an iSHaRe account. 2.1 iSHaRe Account Set-up- Internal User Internal users refer to SingHealth and Changi General Hospital (CGH) staffs. SingHealth and CGH users will not need to register for an iSHaRe account. To complete the set-up of their accounts, they are required to log into iSHaRe using their existing ADID and password and perform the steps in Section 2.1.1. In event of future changes to the personal particulars/ user appointment, please update the user profile accordingly. 2.1.1 First Time Log-in and User Profile Update 1. Launch any browser and connect to the iSHaRe homepage URL- http://ishare.singhealth.com.sg/. 2. Select the appropriate account type. 3. Enter the user ID (i.e. ADID) and password. Last Updated 11 June 2015 Page 5 of 16 4. Upon initial log-in, you will be directed to the “User Profile” page. 5. Enter the details of your personal particulars and click “Next”. Salutation, Gender, Nationality, Email and Mobile No. are mandatory fields. Last Updated 11 June 2015 Page 6 of 16 6. Enter the details of your user appointment and click “Add”. The details will be populated in the table (with the blue header) below. A minimum of one user appointment is required. This is mandatory. 7. Click on “Submit” and proceed to use iSHaRe e-CIRB. Upon clicking “Submit”, you will be prompted to fill in the mandatory fields if you had not done so. Last Updated 11 June 2015 Page 7 of 16 2.1.2 Forget Password For SingHealth and CGH users, the iSHaRe log-in password would be your ADID password. Changes to the ADID password, for instance when it has expired, will automatically result in a similar change to the iSHaRe log-in password. In the event that you have forgotten your ADID password, please contact your IT Helpdesk. 2.2 iSHaRe Account Set-up- External User External users refer to all non-SingHealth staff and partners. Non-SingHealth users will first need to register for an iSHaRe account. After which, the users can then complete the set-up of their accounts by logging into iSHaRe using their user ID and password and performing the steps in Section 2.2.1. 1. Launch any browser and connect to the iSHaRe homepage URL- http://ishare.singhealth.com.sg/. 2. Select the appropriate account type (i.e. Non-SingHealth staff/ Partners) and click on the link to sign up for a SingHealth-Link Account. Last Updated 11 June 2015 Page 8 of 16 3. The following message will appear upon clicking “Register”. Please access your mailbox to activate the newly registered account. The account activation link will expire in 10 minutes. 5. Retrieve the account activation email and click on the provided link to activate your new account. 6. The following message will appear upon successful activation. 7. Log-in to iSHaRe to update your user profile for the first time before using e-CIRB. The following message will appear upon clicking “Reset Password”. Please access your mailbox to retrieve the email.
