REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR:
SAFE SITTER COURSE
Sandown Recreation, in cooperation with Parkland Medical Center,
offers a “Safe Sitter” course on Saturday, October 24th from 9 AM to
4 PM at the Parkland Medical Center Nutfield Building, 44 Birch St.,
Entrance “D”, Derry, NH for students ages 11-13.
Topics include starting a babysitting business, child development and
behaviors, first aid and CPR. Cost is $65 and includes handbook,
backpack, and completion card.
Participants should pack a lunch and drink. Minimum number of
participants needed to run class is 6 with a maximum of 8 per class.
Registration deadline is by Wednesday, 10/14. Registration may close
earlier if class is full. Please note that registration is by age, not
grade.
You will register through Sandown Recreation. Please call the
recreation office at 887-1872 for space availability. Payment is by
check of money order only made payable to: Sandown Recreation. NO
CASH ACCEPTED.

at the recreation office located 25 Pheasant Run Drive or at Town
Hall.
NOTE: There is no refund of fees paid except for documentation from a physician stating you can
not participate due to a medical condition-in which case you will be issued a credit to participate at
a later date.
