Walter brings extensive experience and skill related to palliative medicine, end of life care, and integrating spirituality into the patient care process. He graduated from MUSC College of Medicine, Medical College of Wisconsin (MA in bioethics), and College of Charleston. He completed residency at Brown University. The Reverand Capers Limehouse, MFA Reverend Limehouse completed her undergraduate degree at Agnes Scott College and her graduate degree at Georgia State University – MFA, Creative Writing. She is a Staff Chaplain at Roper Hospital, Charleston where her primary areas are General Medicine and CVICU, including working with the Palliative Care Service on those units. She is also the chaplain with Roper Saint Francis Healthcare’s Ryan White Program where she ministers to both inpatients and outpatients with HIV/AIDS. Her work also includes a focus on staff support as well as community education around HIV/AIDS issues, Medical Ethics, and Medicine and Spirituality.
