You will receive a copy of
the bed hold policy by
mail each time your family member will be admitted to any other
healthcare facility. A copy
will also be sent with the
resident upon transfer to
the other facility. Please
be aware of the bed hold
policy here at River Oaks.
All Nurses have cell
phones for resident related calls. Responsible Parties ONLY are encouraged
to use these numbers instead of using the main
line to check on residents. Calls will not be
answered during medication administration attending directly to residents.

we ask that you allow our
residents to eat first to
prevent disrupting their
seating for meals. As soon
as a table clears you are

Playboy Band from 2pm to 3:30pm. We asked that if you plan to donate a cake please

BBQ Hamburger Sale:
River Oaks will hold their monthly Homemade BBQ Hamburger
Sale on Tuesday April 5th from 10:30-12:00 noon. The meal
consist of Burger, chips, and Soda for a donation of $6.00. (If you

Resident of the Month: Mrs. Ann R.
Mrs. Ann has been a resident here at River
Oaks for 2 1/2 years. She enjoy word search
puzzle, musical event, weekly social, bingo,
exercise, pretty nails, beauty shop, rosary,
mass, happy hour, socializing, tv, reading,
but most of all visiting with her family and
friends. Congratulation Mrs. Ann R., we at
River Oaks are very proud of you!!!!!!!
Attention Families: Memorial Service will be
held in the Cypress Café Area on April 28,
2016 from 2-3:30 for Kenneth F. and Paul F..
We at River Oaks would like to send our condolences to all of the families. Remember
your loved ones will be sadly missed.

All Residents Medical Records are reviewed every 3
months in a meeting called
“Staffing”. In this meeting
we discuss the residents
possible needs, plan of care,
changes that they may be
experiencing, etc. We encourage family members to
attend staffing in order to review their plan completely
with all possible inputs. If
you have any questions
please contact Edwina Francis, MDS Coordinator at 337233-7115. We look forward to

Please make sure you bring all new items to the
Laundry Supervisor to be labled and documented before placing them in your loved ones room. If you
bring clothes for your loved one on a weekend or holiday please place them in a bag with their first and
last named on the bag and give it to the Nurse. The
clothes will be labled and handed out on Monday by
Linda Landry, Laundry Supervisor.
