Rewrite this story correcting any spelling or punctuation errors.
The small boy was walking down the road when he saw the clouds
billowing up on the horizon. He knew that it meant there would be a
storm and that he therefore needed to hurry home as quickly as he
could. He stopped only to put on his raincoat and then began to hurry
down the street. In no time at all the rain had started
and the wind began to blow very hard. It took some
effort to be able to make his way along the road. As he
passed the corner of the street he noticed that objects
were flying around the air. One was a piece of paper
which came to rest at his feet. What luck. It was a five
dollar note. He told his mum about the note and she
said he must first take it to the police station and see if
anyone had lost it. He did this the next day but the
police said no-one had reported any lost money so he
was able to keep it.
