A Confederate Republic - Confederate States of America

A Confederate Republic --- Alexander Hamilton states in The Federalist No.9 that……..
“The definition of a Confederate Republic seems simply to be, an “assemblage
of societies” or an association of two or more States into one State. The extent,
modifications and objects of the federal authority are mere matters of
discretion. So long as the separate organizations of the members be not
abolished, so long as it exists by a constitutional necessity for local purposes,
though it should be in perfect subordination to the general authority of the
Union, it still would be, in fact and in theory, an association of States, or a
confederacy”. The proposed constitution, so far from implying an abolition of the
State governments, makes them constituent parts of the national sovereignty
by allowing them direct representation in the Senate, and leaves in their
possession exclusive and very important portions of sovereign power.”
More simply stated--- A Confederated Republic is simply an assemblage of States
which establish a federal bureaucracy from among those States to administer the
matters of the group of States as a whole. This bureaucracy is THE FEDERAL
GOVERNMENT. When Alexander Hamilton states that they are “an association of
States into one State”, he is NOT stating that the States are dissolved into one single
State; for this to occur would be to end the confederate republic, as well as to end the
federal government itself, for the States to be dissolved into ONE SINGLE STATE
would be to establish a consolidated government, A NATIONAL GOVERNMENT. The
States only allow the central government certain enumerated powers for the
administration of the whole of the confederacy; they retain all others for themselves
and the people. The States only willingly subordinate themselves to certain specific
enumerated authority that they grant by constitution/treaty between themselves to
the central bureaucracy. This central bureaucracy is held in check by the States
through their appointment of their representatives, THE SENATE, (Which is the
federal portion of the central government.
James Madison states it thusly in the federalist No. 39. “
The Senate, like the present Congress, and the Senate of Maryland,
derives its appointment indirectly from the people.”
“The Senate, on the other hand, will derive its powers from the States,
as political and coequal societies”
The difference between a federal government and a national government is
this…..
In a federal system, the powers operate on the political bodies that form the
confederacy; meaning that the powers originate from the people and operate
through their States to the central bureaucracy via their States two
representatives/their senators.
In a national government system; the powers originate from the people, and
operate from the individual citizen, wherein no confederate republic exists,
thus, no federal government system, but rather a consolidated government, A
NATIONAL GOVERNMENT.
The group of State representatives that we call “THE SENATE” IS THE FEDERAL
GOVERNMENT.
So now we should have an understanding of a confederate republic, and what a
federal government is; that being the portion of the central bureaucracy that
represents the States= a federal government.
Next let us examine just what a National government is, and how it pertains to our
confederated republic within our 1861 Confederate States Constitution.
In the Federalist No. 39. James Madison describes a National government thusly……
“The idea of a national government involves in it, not only an authority
over the individual citizens, but an indefinite supremacy over all persons
and things”
The national portion of our Confederate States Constitution is, the House of
Representatives. The house operates NOT as representatives of the States, but
rather as representatives of small “House Districts”, directly representing the
people of their district, without any regard of the States. This alone would
establish a consolidated national government system. Our Confederate States
Constitution is set up just as the 1787/1789 U.S. Constitution in its operation.
The occupying government abandoned this system and established a Wholly
National government system wherein there are no States, No federal
bureaucracy, but only a consolidated National government system, whereas
our 1861 Confederate States Constitution retains the federal system within.
So what was carried forward by our Confederate States constitution was the same
system as the framers of the 1787/1789 constitution which held within it, the same
system as the Articles of Confederation, only with the addition of a national
component. Our 1861 Constitution retains both the Framers combination of a federal
and national component, as well as retaining the Founders confederated republic.
The occupying government invaded each of our Confederate States and by force of
arms forced our Confederate States Constitution, and governments into exile and
instituted defacto bureaucracies, and with the use of these defacto bureaucracies
established a wholly National government system by removing the appointment of the
Senators by the State legislatures, (WHICH WERE THE STATES REPRESENTATIVES,
AND THE FEDERAL PORTION OF THE 1787/1789 U.S. CONSTITUTION) thus
destroying not only the States, but the Confederate republic, the federal portion of that
constitution. THIS IS PARAMOUNT IN UNDERSTANDING WHY WE LIVE UNDER A
TYRANNICA GOVERNMENT, WHEREIN OUR LIBERTIS ARE CONSTANTLY UNDER
ATTACK, AND OUR RIGHTS ARE BEING TAKEN AWAY. THE PEOPLE HAVE CME TO
THINK AND USE THE TWO PARTY DUOPOLY, (DEMOCRAT, AND REPUBLICAN
PARTIES) as a check and balance system within this NATIONAL occupying
government, this as evidence has proven over and over and over again, is a hopeless
endeavor. One must remember James Madison’s own words…..
“The idea of a national government involves in it, not only an authority
over the individual citizens, but an indefinite supremacy over all persons
and things”
