THOMAS JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY/MIDDLE SCHOOL
UNIFORM INFORMATION FOR 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR
All Thomas Jefferson students have the option to wear either embroidered* Thomas Jefferson
uniforms or non-embroidered uniforms.
Uniforms are expected to be worn every day-until the final day of school.
ELEMENTARY/LOWER ((Grades Pre-K -5)
Colors: Navy, white and Khaki
Tops (short or long sleeves): Golf/Polo shirts only (solid navy or solid white)
Bottoms (pants, skirts, skorts, jumpers): Navy or khaki
Shoes (dress, casual or athletic): Closed toe and heel (i.e. no sandals - for safety reasons)
P.E.: Solid gray t-shirt and solid navy mesh shorts and solid navy sweat shirt and solid navy pants
Hoodless -sweaters, pullovers and vests etc.: Solid navy only
MIDDLE/UPPER (GRADES 6-8)
Colors: Navy, white and khaki
Tops (short or long sleeves): Dress/Oxford shirts only (solid white)
Bottoms (pants, skirts): Navy, khaki or plaid*
Ties:
Males:
Wide striped navy and khaki - long or bow
Females:
Plaid or navy - crossover neck
Dark colored shoes (dress or casual): Closed toe and heel (i.e. no sandals - for safety reasons)
Hoodless -sweaters, pullovers and vests etc.: Solid navy only
*Items embroidered with the Thomas Jefferson logo/crest, school specific
stripes and plaids are available at Dennis Uniform.
All other items can be purchased at school uniform supply stores such as
Forman Mills, Old Navy, Super Kids, Wal-Mart, etc.
