Issues Resolved in Amicus Premium 2015 Amicus Attorney Files 36879 – In File Details, where the "Matter Came To Us Because" field is set to Referred By, you can select a Firm Member Group. 37056 – When you delete a Custom Record from a File, there is no "Are you sure?" confirmation message. 37325 – If your firm is set to User-Managed Documents but a default documents path is not set for the File, edits to the File's Summary, Main Note, or Status Report immediately before adding a Document are not saved. 373595 – In the Events views of File Details, items are not sorted by date. 37354 – Customization of the Files Index headings (column sequence) might not be kept upon logout. People 36377 – In rare circumstances, if you go to a Custom Page view in Contact Details, then another Custom Page view, and then a Custom Record view, Amicus might terminate unexpectedly for all users. 36992 – A new Contact record created when saving an E-mail to or from an unrecognized contact does not include their e-mail address. 37056 – When you delete a Custom Record from a Contact, there is no "Are you sure?" confirmation message. Calendar 36860 – Linked Events: Dependent Event whose start date is set to be scheduled based on Master To Do's deadline date will actually be scheduled based on the Master's start date. 37088 – Clicking on a To Do's DO button might mark it Done or prompt to create a new Time Entry regardless of your Preference settings. Tasks 37011 – If the date range of the Tasks view includes both the Start Date and the Deadline Date of a single Task, clicking on the ‘virtual’ instance (the Deadline Date) will cause the Deadline to be changed for the Task. 37015 – From the Timeline view of Tasks, changing one occurrence of a Repeating To Do affects ALL occurrences. Time 37078 – In the Unposted view of the Time Sheets module, the "Unposted Time for" drop-down list of dates is not sorted by date. Communications 37242 – Phone Messages: If the body of the message or the contact name includes quotes, Send & Email fails with a "command line argument is not valid" error. Document Management 37281 – If your firm is set to Amicus-Managed Documents, and you Check Out two documents with the same filename to the same checkout folder, the last one checked out overwrites the first. Precedents 36757 – A Precedent including a large number of Linked Events might not save – an "Incorrect syntax" error message appears. 36800 – Opening a NIL-dated Event created from a Precedent automatically changes its start date to today. 36882 – In the Select Precedent dialog, clicking OK without first properly selecting a Precedent causes an error. 37042 – In the Select Precedents dialog, the mnemonic selector uses only the first letter you type. 37043 – Precedent Profile Name can be only up to 50 characters long. (Limit is now 150.) 37117 – Select Precedents and Precedent Profile dialogs are too small. 37467 – If a To Do is created with a blank start date from a Precedent, and it has a Dependent To Do with a start date based on its Deadline, it might show an incorrect date Amicus Premium 2015 - Resolved Issues © 2015 Gavel & Gown Software Inc. 1 Outlook Contacts & Calendar Link 36515 – If a computer's Windows date format is set to DD-MM-YY, some Events might fail to synchronize. 36787 – If logging in to Amicus at a different computer with a different Outlook Profile, and your Link is set to sync at startup, the "not your customary workstation" warning appears after the option to sync now, rather than before. 37430 – With both the E-mail Link and Outlook Contacts & Calendar Link enabled, upon login to Amicus at a computer with a different Outlook Profile, two warning messages appear rather than just one. 37491 – Synchronization of an Appointment edited in Amicus might override its default Reminder setting in Outlook/Exchange. Exchange Contacts & Calendar Link 36699 – If a Firm Member's Exchange password or username has changed, they are not warned by Sticky that they need to re-enter their credentials in their Preferences, nor is a warning shown in their Preferences or in Firm Settings > Exchange Management. 36823 – Synchronizations continue for a Firm Member after they are unlicensed. 37174 – If the Link is set to synchronize updates only from Amicus to Exchange, new items are still synchronized in both directions. 37187 – If you edit the e-mail address of a Contact in Amicus, that change will not synchronize 37199 – When an Administrator schedules Initialization for a Firm Member, the default start time is 12 am, and if the date selected is today the process starts immediately. (The default is now 8 pm instead.) 37228 – New Meeting Requests you create as the Organizer do not synchronize to your Amicus, nor do subsequent changes to those events. 37491 – Synchronization of an Appointment edited in Amicus might override its default Reminder setting in Outlook/Exchange. Outlook E-mail Link 36645 – You may attempt to initialize the Outlook Link even if Outlook isn't installed on your Workstation. 36928 – Changing your E-mail Link Autosave Preferences to exclude a Contact, exclude if Contact is on more than 1 File, or include a Firm Member, have no effect until you exit Amicus and log back in. 36948 – If you navigate between Next and Previous E-mail Details, the Restrict button might not be disabled in unsaved e-mail. 36954 – Unnecessary warnings about the default attachment folder appear in the log during each poll. 36955 – If an email's attachments have been saved to Amicus, its attachments icon is no longer shown in the Communications list. 36990 – If you manually save an email and choose to have its attachment saved as well, the new Document record lacks an Author name. 37054 – Printout of Saved Email includes unnecessary blank lines and indented text. 37134 – When configuring the Outlook Link in your Preferences, you aren't warned if the chosen location for attachments isn't suitable. 37138 – Synchronization is slower than necessary because older e-mails are being rechecked. 37213 – If an e-mail has multiple attachments, and any have been separately saved to multiple files, not all of the remaining attachments can be saved. 37430 – With both the E-mail Link and Outlook Contacts & Calendar Link enabled, upon login to Amicus at a computer with a different Outlook Profile, two warning messages appear rather than just one. Google Contacts & Calendar Link NOTE: Google changed its API in November 2014, causing the Google Link in Premium 2014 and earlier to no longer function. The Link has been redesigned for Premium 2015, and the following issues were also corrected. 34706 – Deletion of a Contact in Google is not noted in the Google Link log. 35826 – If you add a Contact in Google that matches one that you aren't assigned to in Amicus, it creates a new Contact in Amicus rather than simply assigning you to the existing one. 36930 – Google Contacts & Calendar Link might unexpectedly fail to synchronize Google Appointments to Amicus even though it appears to be configured properly. 37044 – Google Contacts & Calendar Link might fail to synchronize records upon being initialized or reset for a user. Miscellaneous 37931 – In the Firm Member Availability function, setting My Availability (e.g. to "Do Not Disturb") might affect the next-listed Firm Member instead. Administration 37258 – Document Management: If the firm's Documents mode is switched from User-Managed to Amicus-Managed, the conversion report of missing documents includes unrelated items. 36279 – User Management: Sorting the list by Login Status sorts alphabetically rather than chronologically. Billing 33187 – Accumulated posted interest is calculated based on the actual interest amount rather than the posted amount. 35103 – When Mass Billing, Bills on Fixed Fee/Contingency Files, where WIP is less than the quoted amount, allocate all the adjustment to the Responsible Lawyer.
