FIELD EXPERIENCE
More than 300 days of field work experience exploring at a variety of information that can be obtained from the
surface and subsurface of the Earth including: structural and geologic mapping on active tectonic regions and
volcanic settings such as the Andes, the San Andreas Fault and the Rio Grande rift, field assistant of PhD and
undergraduate theses on structural geology and geomorphology, mine reservoir assessments, exploration of
marsh and sand barrier islands formation processes –as well as meteorite impacts and explosive volcanism– in
Germany and France, installation of seismic and geodetic instrumentation, UAV (drone) topographic mapping,
and geo-tourism.
