Percent: Means something out of 100.

Example. What is 50% of 30?

Then a decimal!
2. Find the answer of Step #1
50/100 is what as a decimal?
multiply that decimal by the original
price of the object.
Sale price is $15 off
Price is now $15 dollars (30-15)
