OSCIETRA IMPERIAL GOLD (ACIPENSER BAERII) The Imperial Gold Caviar is a selection of the finest caviar from the sturgeon types Huso Dauricus and Acipenser Schrenckii. To be selected as “Imperial Gold” the caviar must have the rare golden colour and fine, solid texture which only the best Oscietra caviar holds. Experience the silky taste with a hint of light hazel nut. This caviar is bred by experienced experts, but in taste and texture it is comparable with wild caviar. Enjoy it with blinis and with a glass of dry white wine or champagne WHITE STURGEON (ACIPENSER TRANSMONTANUS) After Beluga and Kaluga the Acipenser Transmontanus is the third biggest sturgeon. It is also known as the white sturgeon or the Pacific sturgeon. It lives in the northern parts of the Pacific Ocean and contrary to a number of other sturgeon species, it is luckily not threatened. With its average grain size and soft texture this light caviar has a mild taste of nuts and a colour varying from light to dark grey. White Stugeon Caviar is a fresh alternative to the more sturdy Barii Caviar. BELUGA (HUSO HUSO) From the famous Huso Huso sturgeon comes the finest Beluga Caviar of an absolutely incomparable quality. This noble and oldest sturgeon comes from the Caspian Sea and is the source of the exclusive Beluga Caviar, known as the world’s finest caviar. When fishing after wild Huso Huso sturgeon became forbidden, it was uncertain whether it would be possible ever to reach the same top quality as before. However, some experts took up the challenge and in specialized fish farms along the coast line of the Caspian Sea, they have succeeded in obtaining the same high quality as previously known from the wild Huso Huso. Beluga Caviar is the most outstanding of all caviars. Only the finest quality of grains are selected and the control is in top. BAERII ROYAL SELCT (ACIPENSER BAERII) From the Siberian sturgeon (Acipenser Barii) comes this exclusive caviar of average size grains with a creamy fondant and an extraordinary balance in crispness and flavour. The taste is sweet and nutty and fills your mouth, while its colour varies from dark grey to golden brown. Barii Royal Select goes well with blinis, but is also fine alone with a dry white wine or champagne. OSCIETRA TOP SELECTION (ACIPENSER GUELDENSTAEDTII) The expression comes from Oscientra which in Russian means “sturgeon”. The name Oscientra refers specifically to the Russian sturgeon (Ancipenser Gueldenstaedtii) which equals the exclusivity of the Beluga Caviar. The Oscientra Top Selection Caviar has a solid texture and a colour ranging from dark to golden brown. These “sparkling” average size grains with a silky fondant have a well-balanced flavour with light hints of hazel nut.
