Ellis Award for International Travel 2011-2012 If you are interested in travel and exposure to different cultures, please submit an application. There is no foreign language requirement. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, October 28, at 7:30 a.m. to Mrs. Lane Epps in the Alumni and Development Office. All applications should be typed in English. All answers should be written on a separate piece of paper, and all questions should be answered in a complete sentence. Please do not answer with a “yes” or a “no.” Include your name and grade at the top of each page. Only students between the grades 9 through 11 are eligible to apply. Students are eligible to win the award only one time over the course of grades 9 through 11. If the award goes unused by the student for the 2011-2012 school year, the award must be returned to the Trinity Parents Organization. If you do not have a valid passport, your parent/guardian should provide a letter agreeing to obtain the passport before the trip. To claim the award, the teacher leading your trip must contact Mrs. Epps to have your scholarship applied towards your trip fees. Application questions: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.
