Dear “Our Lady of Lourdes” and
“ St. Michael” Parish Family,
Those of you who were present
at our Masses last weekend, know
CONFESSIONS
that I related the great joy that I
SATURDAY – 9 - Noon
BEFORE VIGIL MASS - 4:15 PM feel at being named your new
Pastor. It is a challenge that I
ROSARY
look forward to with great
SATURDAY – 4:30 PM
anticipation and I humbly ask for
your help in adapting to my new
ADORATION
position. I resolve with all my
WEDNESDAY – 3-6:15
SATURDAY – 9 - Noon
heart to be as accessible as I
possibly can in every facet of the
ST. MICHAEL
ministries hereby entrusted to me.
MASS SCHEDULE
I am excited to get to know
SUNDAY – 8:00 AM
everyone in our Parish
Communities. I ask you to please
CONFESSIONS & ROSARY tell me your names repeatedly
BEFORE MASS – 7:30 AM
until I learn them! It is an
exciting time of transition for me,
and I hope for all of you as well.
In keeping with our Gospel this
week, Jesus revised an old
commandment to make it read,
“You shall love the Lord, Your
God, with all your heart….and your
neighbor as yourself. “ Backing
this up with a simple verse from 1
John 4:8 which states, “…if a
person isn’t loving and kind, it
shows that he doesn’t know God,
for God is love.” Our hearts should
always be sensitive with the Lord’s
compassion so that we may truly
love as He did. This means sharing
others’ sorrow, distress, and
misfortune as well as sharing the
joys of life without envy, control
and manipulation. Until we have
learned to do this, we cannot know
true happiness. Wishing you all a
blessed week.
In Christ’s Love,
Fr. Anthony Lopez
aydarme adaptar a mi nueva posicion.
Padre Anthony Lopez
