Gold Coast FlatFare share ride taxi service
FlatFare is a taxi service operated by Gold
Coast Cabs and supported by the Queensland
Department of Transport and Main Roads.
Pay a flat fare rate to share the ride home with
others going in the same direction. FlatFare
taxis are share ride and not a personalised taxi
service.

You are required to pay cash. Credit card
or EFTPOS payments are not accepted.

FlatFare taxis run from 11pm until 5.30am
Friday and Saturday nights (Saturday and
Sunday mornings) from the secure taxi rank
in Surfers Paradise, on the south side of Cavill
Avenue opposite Fiddlers Green.
• group fare – a group of five people or more travelling to same location.
FlatFare operates within a zone system
(zones 1 to 11, see back for details).

service will need to wait until a suitable group
