Faith Christian High School Supply List (Grades 7-12)
2014-2015
Parents: You may bring these supplies to school on a date to be determined later. Teachers’ names
will be posted on their classrooms.
All students need to provide the following items for their lunch area: 2 pkgs. microwaveable plates
(not styrofoam), 2 pkgs. plastic forks, 1 pkg. spoons, 4 rolls paper towels.
Send the following items to the student’s first period class (see student’s schedule).
4 boxes of Kleenex, 1 pkg. of Lysol wipes, 1 pump bottle hand sanitizer. These are shared commonly; if
each student brings in these items, we will have enough to last us all year.

For all students in grades 7-12 for academic tools, bring these the first day of school:
1.
Jump drive or flash drive
2.
Good supply of pens with blue or black ink only – no gel or glitter pens
3.
Good supply of #2 pencils with good erasers
4.
Good supply of college-ruled loose-leaf notebook paper
5.
Highlighters, markers and colored pencils (required for several classes)
6.
Good supply of lined index cards (3x5 or 4x6)
7.
Good student dictionary (Webster’s or Random House)
Choir Students: Two (2) pencils. (Students will purchase music folders from Mrs. Callahan.)
Bible: Composition note book, (standard size), Index cards (any size) for Scripture memory work.
NIV Bibles provided in class. (Optional: NIV Bible to use at home.)
Journalism: 16 GB or larger jump drive.
7th Graders
Science: A 1 ½ inch 3-ring binder labeled “science”, dividers with tabs, 1 pkg. notebook paper, calculator
with square root, index cards (3x5), 2 rolls of paper towels-bring towels to class; (no spiral notebooks).
Math: Compass, protractor, pencils (no pens), graph paper, 3-ring binder, composition notebook, 4function calculator.
English: Thesaurus (optional), one expandable composition notebook (will be available from Mrs. Turner
for about $4.00/each). (No spiral notebooks)
History: Geography/Civics: Two inch 3-ring binder (no spiral notebooks), dividers with tabs.
8th Graders
Pre-Algebra/Algebra: Scientific Calculator (with sine, cosine, tangent functions), graph paper, 3-ring
binder, composition notebook.
English; 3-ring binder with dividers; dictionary and thesaurus (no spiral notebooks)
Science: A 1 ½-2 inch 3-ring binder labeled “Science”, dividers with tabs, 1 pkg. notebook paper,
calculator, index cards (3x5), 2 rolls paper towels. (no spiral notebooks)
Ancient History: A two (2)-inch three-ring binder (no spiral notebooks), dividers with tabs.
