Shooting For the Goal
I dream about playing professional hockey in the NHL,
Being goalie is not for me
Pucks fiercely flying at me, no thanks,
Right wing is the position I want to be,
Playing offense and scoring goals,
Playing for the New York Rangers at the electrifying Madison Square Garden.
Feeling a wave of adrenaline rush over me as I step on to the ice,
Skating at lightning speed,
The ice is as smooth and shiny as glass,
Feeling the cool breeze on my face as I fly down the rink,
Intense, fast paced, non-stop action,
The sound of my stick smashing the puck,
Watching the puck glide across the ice at the speed of light.
Quickly dropping my gloves as a fight erupts,
Fighting with full force until the referee steps in,
The satisfaction of seeing missing teeth and blood, as long as it’s not mine,
Slowly heading to the penalty box to do my time.
Feeling the excitement of scoring a goal,
Hearing the roar of the crowd cheering at the top of their lungs.
Successfully making it past the playoffs to the championship series,
Winning the Stanley Cup is the ultimate prize,
The spectacular sterling silver trophy,
Thirty-five inches tall and weighing in at thirty-four pounds,
Hoisting it over my head as I skate my victory lap,
Celebratory champagne shower in the locker room,
That would be my dream come true.

Bonds
I dreamed of an organization
That harmonizes
A bond of bonds, united as one
They see the world, through different eyes, through different minds.
They are one person, a single body
Many are one, one is many
Loyalty dictates us, as does love
We may not be bonded in blood, we are bound in loyalty.
Single, we fall to the hate of the world
Together, we can survive a million blows
In times of need, we give to one another
We feed each other hope, and give each other love.
We are all different, not one alike
Yet we still hear the voices of one another’s minds
We may struggle, yet give in to both dreams
We fight, ending with a re-known bond.
In the battle, we are against one another
Yet in the war, we are united.
We are bound in the golden coils of loyalty
We are a cult, a clan, a family.
We create a fortress
A defensive tower that can survive a thousand armies.
If one of us falls, all of us fall
To the horrors that lie beneath us.
We all have our dreams
They are our purpose
But we cannot accomplish it alone
We need the foundation of another.
Our bonds run deep and strong
We are a family by love

A Successful Life
I dream, of one day being able to have a successful life.
But, I will have to work a lot to reach these goals.
To have a successful life, you need to work on several things.
I dream to,
Go to college maybe a community college so I can be with my family,
But after one or two years, I will look for a better college.
And not slack or waste time so that I will graduate.
I also dream to
Have a wonderful family with at least one child,
Have a delighted life with a family that I love,
And have a job I enjoy, if I don't enjoy the job, I will quit.
But,
To achieve all of these dreams, I have to work hard,
It may be troublesome, but I will continue to try.
No matter what, I will always try.
To reach these dreams,
I will have to, work hard, and be lively.
These things will help me advance in reaching my goals.
If I am not working hard or lively, I will not reach my goals.
I will also have to focus and pay attention,
Have good grades to stay smart,
And study hard to pass exams and get into college,
To be successful I must do all of these things.
Being successful will make feel different ways,
It will make me feel as joyous as the laughter of a child.
As proud as a queen,
And as confident as a falcons flight.

Animals are People Too
I dream about rescuing animals,
because,
They are abused and mistreated.
We are all born just wanting,
To be,
Loved.
I dream about rescuing animals because they are innocent,
They do nothing wrong,
I dream that animals and people are treated the same.
I dream that people stop mistreating them,
I dream people start loving them,
Because,
Animals should be treated with the same,
Love and affection we give people.
I dream that people treat animals how they would want to be treated,
Because the animals can't stop you,
It is your choice,
On how to treat them.
I dream that people stop and think to not hurt them,
Abusing animals is like damaging a part of the world
Abusing animals is like hurting a person.
Animals have no control on what you do to them,
So treat them right,
The first time.
I dream that animals have good life,
I dream they find a positive home,
I dream that they get the care they need,
I dream they get treated right,
Because,
Animals are people too.

I may be a singer, but I am a dreamer
I dream of one day, being able to sing,
To make people laugh, with my acting;
To have my own television show that I can be confident about.
I dream of being known,
For singing and acting.
Whether it is with words;
Or the enjoyment of letting the world hear my voice.
I want to perform a concert in Time Square.
I want my family to be proud,
Whether it is my siblings or my parents.
When I sing, I let my worry’s go away.
I feel like I'm flying,
When I act, I think to myself;
This is what I want to do,
No matter what people say,
I know I can do it.
It feels amazing when I am singing;
I breathe in, and force the words out of my mouth.
I sing the tune until my heart's content.
It is amazing knowing that people enjoy what you do,
The feeling of knowing you can't mess up the words;
To either the script or the tune
And when I step up on that stage,
I dream,
I dream I am flying;
I know the people there want to come and see me,
And I think to myself;
I am proud to be a singer,
I am proud to be me.

From out of the Ordinary
I dream of one day,
Being able to help a person
That has disabilities
That does not allow them to learn as easy.
I want to help the children
Be able to write the whole
Alphabet and their names.
I dream of a little adolescent
Being able to attend an academy
Like other kids and fit in.
I dream of going to a really good
College to get an internship
To be a psychologist so I can learn
How to do my job in the best way.
I want to be able to help
The children to the best
Of my abilities.
These children did not
Choose to be cursed
With this disease.
People will look at people with disabilities
Differently like they are different,
When they are just like you and me.
If these children can learn as
Fast as lightning, then, we
Might be a step closer
To having them be treated the same.
Just because a child looks and acts
A little bit out of the ordinary,
Does not mean that they are unintelligent
Or irrelevant and I am going to confirm that.

Something Extraordinary
I dream of an amazing person,
Who did something.
That person is me,
And that something:
is something extraordinary,
something that is righteous.
Something that is not just extraordinary for me,
But extraordinary for all.
If you consider our armed services extraordinary,
Then this something is for you.
If you consider a job that designs for others extraordinary,
Then this something is for you.
And for meOne term in the forces may not seem like a great deal,
But one term can mean a great deal.
Designing houses for citizens as newfound as a baby.
Designing schools for children that thrive like a sponge.
Designing businesses for intrigued entrepreneurs,
Designing hospitals for the sick and desperate.
All the job for an architect.
A giver.
This may not seem
Like a dream for most dreamers,
But this is a dream for me.
One Rewarding master's degree,
One intriguing job,
One important building,
One tough term,
One extraordinary dream.
All somethingSomething extraordinary.

A Nonviolent World
I dream of a,
nonviolent world.
That everyone can live in unity,
That everyone is equal.
I dream that,
No one has to suffer from bullet wounds.
No one is taken away from home,
At the cost of violence.
War separates peace from disturbance.
Many serve and end
Their lives in battle.
I dream of an admirable,
Civil-world.
That no one prays their
Loved ones aren’t dead.
That there is no bloodshed.
That everyone is happy and safe,
From guns
bombs
WAR
That the beauty of
The earth is shown through,
All the dust clouds and explosions.
I dream of a new-world,
Where everyone thinks of
Hope,
Happiness for the
Future generations.
That generations after,
Realize how we changed,
The world for the better.
I dream of,
A nonviolent world.

My Dream
I have a dream of having a true friend,
True friends are difficult to find,
But you will find one throughout your life.
Fake friends are like myths,
Not TRUE.
They are like chameleons,
Can hide their true colors.
BEST FRIEND,
It has an end
(friEND)
But, you have to remember it is what you want,
Who you like.
I don't have a best friend right now but,
I will hopefully get one soon enough.
Friends will come and go.
But, the true friends stay.
They will stick up for you and stay by you.
“God made us friends because he knew our parents couldn't handle us as sisters.”
A true friendship is memorable.
I have never had a true friendship,
Although, I have seen it.
And I want it.
Fake friends will come and go
Always remember you are not the only one going through it.
I go through fake friends all the time,
Painful?
Yes!
But, in the end you know that they aren't your true friends.

Dreaming of Hope
I imagine a bright, blissful light filled city like a yellow highlighter
I imagine that there is no sweating workers as busy as bees in the bright sun,
I imagine there are birth certificates being written
I imagine that the hospital is full
I imagine this city has life,
I imagine this city grows, having its ups and downs
This city is our mind,
I dreamt of importance of the right mindset.
I dreamt of a blissful sprout flourishing in the sunlight hoping to grow tall one day
Just like a little kids dream to be an astronauts,
I dreamt of this juvenile sprout nourishing and becoming bigger than the sun,
But With no lifesaving moist water
or rich nutrient filled soil
I dreamt of Hope.
I dream of affluent magnificent flowers
Giving warm lush sunlight
For others not so magnificent flowers,
If granted these flowers will nourish in the yellow tinted sunlight
I dreamt of investment.
I dream that people chase elusive plans,
I dream everyone has a plan
Whether it's positive or negative,
These plans turn into goals
Which turn into passions
And passions turn into careers
And careers turn into family,
And no one can be born without a family
And you can't chase elusive plans if you’re not alive
I dream of goals.
I truly believe someday this blissing Earth will sprout and live happier
Like a smiling child with a popsicle on a beach
The people will shine like stars in the sky,
The people on this god given planet will stop this ignorant war with other people
No crying mothers nor lonely siblings
No words being shot like bullets
Out of a machine gun
I dream for peace.
We human beings fear a lot of things
Some fear cold salty tears,
Some fear red hot scorching pain,
Some fear of success and are scared of taking risks,
But one of the greatest things we fear is failure,
The failure that embraces this wonderful feeling throne greatness,
The failure that your tears hit the ground like heart beats beating in a race
The failure of blood sweat and tears
See we fear all of this but failure is the key to success
I dreamt for failure at times.

Spring
I’d dream of a time of the year when the days are mild and the nights are chilly.
A fresh start to the cycle of nature begins.
The chorus of peepers start to sing their nightly song.
Greens and yellows bring nature to life with color.
The time when the warmth of the sun melts the frosty ice on the frozen lakes.
The land that was once frozen and white is now green and warm;
Groggy animals wake up hungry from their long hibernation and go in search of food.
Food is abundant and conditions are right for all living things to coexist.
The grass that was once hidden is now displaying its beautiful green coloration.
The water on the lakes are teeming with life and colors.
The once barren and quiet land is now overflowing with life and songs of the
songbirds.
The perfect time to enjoy the outdoors when it is not hot and the bugs are not
Bothersome and annoying.
It is the time when the songs sung aren't just from the cardinals but are from a whole
array of birds singing their song.
When the flowers bloom and the constant buzz of insects erupts,
the early flowers bring the humming birds that flap their wings so fast
it is like a blur and not single flaps.
The time when the air has a beautiful scent of flowers and earth.
''Tis the time when the streams gush to a roar with water from the melting snow.
When the people become active and come outside for long periods of time.
When the people want to have picnics at the park.
When the people need to do what makes them happy.
When the people love nature and everything is important.
The perfect time when the people go out in the fresh chilly spring air.
The wait is over.

Fighting Dream
I dream, in one part of my life, being able to fight and win many gold medals for my gym,
and make everyone proud,
to be able to put all my worries of the world away for a bit so I may focus on something I love
and to be able to put my heart into it.
I love the adrenaline that comes and the feeling of people cheering me on,
even if it is one person cheering and everyone else is shouting and pouting,
I can always hear that one person.
I also love that while I am fighting everything becomes a blur, kinda like a whir,
But the person I am fighting and everything about them
becomes more clear.
Then desire and determination to win comes fighting through my veins and all I want
is to finish the fight victorious and I cannot focus on winning with brawns, but brain.
It's also nice to let out all stress and focus my mind on strategies to win.
Then when I am triumphant…
The feeling is like being at the top of the world where no one can bring me down.
Then getting the medal it does not even matter what it is it could be bronze or silver or gold,
But when I get the medal I definitely feel accomplished and proud.

The World Will Change
I dream that the world will change,
That everyone will be a friend.
And that hate shall die
And that love will thrive.
I dream that bullies will be put to justice;
That no one will have a thirst for hate,
That people will realize their wrong doings.
Wrongs will be righted
Because the world is a teeter-totter of good and bad.
I dream that life will be valued for all;
Because life's a stage where our stories are performed,
And that no one will be put down again with words of hate.
That all can live in peace
With no one to disturb them.
I dream to one day become famous
To make a lot of money.
And with that money I would give it to charity,
I would find a cure to a disease.
I dream that I will one day make a gaming company.
That I will make enough money to support my family,
Because not having a family is like a clock missing its gears.
I dream that one day I will become an Eagle Scout,
And that that will help me with fulfilling these dreams.
I dream that there is peace everywhere.
That there are no wars,
That there is no hate,
That there is only love and peace.
For hate only leads to suffering,
And suffering leads to pain,
And pain is like losing a loved one at the dusk of something great.

I Dream
I dream a world of creation, a world of peace and creativity,
Where the only way to live is of imagination.
To live, is to imagine and ponder the world’s needs,
Dream of reality,
Dream on your own.
In your mind is a canvas waiting to be painted,
Sculpt,
Build,
Paint
that canvas into a reality.
Your future is ahead of you and in it is a reality of your own,
Dream of your future, dream big and discover what’s out there left for you.
The only thing that’s holding you back is your originality,
Dream.
From the breathtaking vision of the Amazon River from a mountain view,
With all the trees and green life surrounding you,
especially the animals,
To the exploration of the Atlantic grounds and ruins stranded at the low barren seafloor with the
thrill pumping through your blood, witnessing the mysticism,
Witness greatness in the making at your point of view,
Beauty and the chance of something great is in your hands.
Paint that bland white canvas, it’s your choice,
Throw the hook in the vast sea of opportunities,
Dream the excitement, dream the enthusiastic adventure’s that could be happening,
or
don't even dream the enthusiastic excitement, and thrill of an adventure.
Your choice to live a wonder or stand your own way of it happening.

Helping the Sick
I dream of one day being able to,
help people as they are sick.
Helping them with their problems.
They can be sick,
They can be sad,
They can be mad,
They can be anything.
I would make sure that that they are alright,
I would be there for them,
In my dream I help people,
I help people that are sick.
I help them by making their day better.
Making them laugh because laughter is the best medicine.
I could take them places such as the park or for a walk in the sunshine,
because it is good for your soul.
If they were cold, I would get them a blanket so they are warm,
If they were sad, I would give them ice cream as we watch tv.
If they were having a rough day I would try to make it better,
they can have a...
Grumpy day,
Not doing well day,
Okay day.
They could be depressed,
Emotional,
Happy,
Afraid,
Nervous.
I would do what I could to help them.
I want to help people.
I would hope to accomplish this when I grow up.

I dream of flying an airplane in the Air Force
Helping people get to safety. I dream of having a good house and a job after the Air Force.
I dream of being a pro swimmer after getting out of the army.
I dream of one day going to the Olympics and getting a gold medal.
I dream of getting a good job I will work as hard as a beaver building a dam.
I wish that I will succeed in all of thing that I do in life and also want to live a good life and an
upbeat life.
I know that I will overcome obstacles along the way
No matter what they be,
Stressed.
Forlorn.
Heartbroken.
Agitated,
But, On the bright side I will be,
Ahead of the game.
Victorious.
Strong.
At the top of the ladder.

My team is cheering me on.

My outfit is sparkling with baby blue and hot pink colors
My makeup is sweating
My dance shoes are on, hair is high and tight
My nails are blue as a sky
My lips are red as a rose
My ears red and score from the diamond earrings
My eyes burn from the stage lights
My arms are weak
My neck is stiff and heavy
My wrist are shaking like trees in the wind
My head is pounding like a hammer hitting a nail
My ears hear the loud parents cheering their kids on
My ankles are bruised black and blue colored
The other girls wishing me good luck
Little girls looking up to me, wishing they could dance like me
Many parents are taking pictures
Roses are being thrown on stage at my feet
My feet are tired as they are trying to keep

Me
I dream about one day going to UConn College for basketball,
Dreams to me mean a goal you want to succeed either in the future or now,
For this dream I hope to one day have a full scholarship to go there,
I want to play post for their team,
Pinning the opponent off by boxing out and receiving a pass for a shot,
jumping as high as the sky to get the rebounds and going back up for the shot
and making it this time,
Playing defense, blocking shots, stealing the pass and go lighting speed down the court for the
open layup, wrestling for the ball and getting the jump ball,
Parents screaming, fans cheering like caged animals, refs calling fouls, final buzzer sounding and
winning the game,
But to make it here I need to start proving myself now,
I need to do my best to make this happen,
When I make it I want to be known as one of the best to ever play for them,
I want to become like the amazing basketball player Breanna Stewart,
To become one of the best I need to practice and always play to my best potential
I want my friends and family to see me play for them and be proud of what I have accomplished,
This is where I want to be and this is what I want to do.

Dreaming in a Sports Bubble
I dream that I was playing sports in like my own little bubble.
I dreamed that my friends were in their own bubble and playing without getting hurt
Or getting upset and playing nice doing a good job.
I dreamed that my team would work together and do a good job to get better.
I dream that I would not get nervous before games.
I dreamed that I would believe in myself and do a good job.
I dream to think mentally before games.
I dreamed that I would leave my self-conscious behind and think
positive.
I dream on a breezy fall day playing sports in my own little bubble,
I dream of me on a soccer field and watching the ball role throughout the grass,
I dream of dribbling through each of the defensive girls on the other team,
I dream playing sports in my own little bubble smelling the fresh air.
I dream of a cold winter night playing basketball in my own little bubble,
I dream to play on a hard wooden basketball court and me in my own bubble,
I dream to look up to the basketball hoop and space everyone out and just me in my own bubble,
just thinking on what my next move or pass is, I dream of driving down the basketball court and
jumping high up on one leg for a crisp layup.
I dream of me in my own bubble playing the sports I love.

An Athlete’s Wish
I dream of one day, I will still be able to play sports,
I will be able to run the bases the same way I do now,
making it back to home plate, scoring a run.
Being able to pitch as good as I am now, making strikeouts.
I could have it go cross the plate as fast maybe even faster than I can now,
Throwing a curve or screw to make them back down at bat.
I would be able to dive back to bases,
Having fun, feeling free, and enjoying life,
Being able to run to the field, with energy and high spirits,
To be faster and tougher.
Getting better is the only feeling you want to feel when playing sports.
I will also be able to play soccer the way I do now,
Running up and down the field defending your goal and being ready for the ball to come down.
Dribbling past players and using all your skills you have learned,
Going in on an open goal, getting ready to make the goal
If you don't make it go back for it next time.
Playing sports can be nerve racking at times,
But that's what teammates are for, to calm you down.
Playing sports is about having fun,
But also some competition,
Even having competition is enjoyable.
Sports are fun activities you can do that help build strength,
They build friendships too.
Sports are one of my favorite things to do.
I dream of continuing them,
And I will excel,
And my love for the game will get even stronger.

I dream to have my dog stay and live with me when I get older
so he could protect me and help me with getting things
because I wanted him to be an extra help dog.
I dream to have all the same friends when I get older
because I enjoy being around my friends,
I dream to have a big yard and a medium sized house
so I can have a horse and have space for my dog to run and play outside.
I dream of working at a horse training program and train peoples horses in general
or for show work or for police work and eventually have my own program,
I dream of making my own program to train horses
and I want to spend two years or more in college
so I can get a business degree so people would actually come to me to train their horses.
I dream to have the rest of my life living on a farm or helping people that live on a farm,
A life time hobby that I would love to do is bowling because bowling give me time to relax my
mind and have a fun time with ether my friends or family.
I dream of spending more time with my father
because he is usually not home because of work.

Life
I dream of living a full life
Like driving a car on a road with the windows down
And the breeze from the car in my hair,
Cruising down the road like a piece of paper in the wind
With not a worry in the world about anything.
I dream of raising a family
Like getting a job to get money for them or
to be able to raise a family with money to get through life,
Being able to spend time with them doing anything they want
Having time fly when I am spending time with my family.
I dream of seeing my kids grow up
See them be something they want to like a firefighter
Have my kids graduate from college and look for a job,
See them move out of my house
Letting them go free like little kids at a playground.
I dream of having fun while I can
Like hanging out with my friends,
Or being as free as a bird flying in the sky
Like watching the super bowl when my team is in and cheering and making noises when they
score.
I dream of succeeding in life
Like not failing at most of the things I do,
I don't want to be known as a failure by people I know
Being a role model to young Kids like superman is too most kids.

My #1 Dream
A dream i would be so grateful for
to come true
would be to never lose my friends.
I am so appreciative of having the friendships i have now.
If i were to ever lose the strong relationships it would leave an impression on my life filled with
great
sadness,
depression,
sorrow,
They have always been there for me,
my parents have told me that they lost a lot of friends when they left for college,
Even though i greatly admire the thought of going to college,
it would be a blessing if i could do that with my friends,
I want it to be known that my friends will always be there by my side.
I also dream about seeing my friends happy.
I cannot even express how
deep,
STRONG,
and connected the relationships with my friends are,
They are everything to me. I could never live without them.
losing them is a nightmare,
Keeping them with me would be a dream come true.

What I Dream
What I dream of doing to help...
I dream of people obtaining clothes that they may not have;
so they do not freeze in the winter like an ice cube,
People acquiring good water to drink and food to eat,
Family's receiving a suitable home and getting their kids an education,
Granting medical attention to people who cannot afford it and are sick,
Giving homeless people a home and job,
so they can turn over a new leaf and get back on their feet,
Returning sick or injured wild animals back to the wild, so they can be with their family again,
Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces that I helped, the were as wide as the world,
Ceasing people from killing endangered or helpless animals:
Preventing underage drinking and smoking,
to ceasing illnesses that are caused by doing those things:
H elping abused or neglected animals get better and find a new home,
O btaining the money to help anyone I can,
P utting an end to drinking and driving, to prevent the amount of death,
E veryone should have HOPE;
Hope
Something you want to see happen in the world for the better:
Such as when no one thought the colonists were going to win the war but they had
HOPE

Winter Wonder
I dreamed that I was in a world of deep white soft snow.
All structures and landforms were perfectly coated by soft powder snow,
Everyone was outdoors enjoying the snow.
I walked off the front porch,
I got on my yellow and black snowmobile,
Yanked the cord and pushed the throttle in,
My snowmobile moved swiftly through the deep white powder.
I turned right onto the trail,
I had no clue where I was going.
Other people were snowmobiling, skiing, and snowboarding.
The sky was blue with a few clouds.
I passed a frozen light blue pond with kids fishing in it,
Everything visual was yellow through my tinted goggles.
I felt the wind hit me when I came over a ridge and my snowmobile elevated the front skies off
the groomed trail,
I was enjoying my day just like all of the others.

The Future
I dream of one day going to a prosperous college,
I dream of a place where I can excel and learn;
A place where you feel accomplished and proud,
A feeling that you made somebody somewhere grateful.
When it's all done and over I can present,
That I have proven that I can work,
Work hard and be respected.
I dream of a place where I can develop my skills,
For any career I choose;
Where I can help those that need it.
To have my rights and freedom that help me thrive.
I dream that I can Chose what I can do without hassle.
I dream of a vast community,
That works together no matter what kind of disastrous conditions.
A place that is open to intriguing thoughts,
A dream that will grow as long as time itself.
I dream that others help to point they can't help any longer.
I dream that my career is as adventurous as an eagle
Soaring in the spacious sky;
A place that displays teamwork as we persevere
through the dark starry night,
Where day after day we can work in tranquility.

Hit and Hustle
I dream about being a professional softball player.
The excitement of getting
Up to the plate and hitting the ball.
I get up to bat, I'm very nervous that I might strike out.
I see the ball, I have the bat,
The bat has a big metal barrel on top as well as a handle that holds a grip
As I hold on to the sweaty handle,
I hit the ball as hard as I can.
As the ball hit the bat, the bat vibrated my hands
I listen to the ball bash against the bat making a loud bang.
I hustle as swiftly as I can while the other team chases after the ball.
I race to each base to make it back home.
As I make it back to home plate,
I hear my other teammates cheering for me.
I run through home plate as I make my way
Back to the dugout as my teammates come over to cheer for me.
As we get out to the field,
I wish my teammates good luck.
I make my way over to second base.
A batter approaches the plate.
The batter looks fierce and intimidating.
The batter hits the ball straight to me.
The batter is running the bases.
I run as fast as I can to the ball.
I pick up the ball and carry it in my glove
As I run to the base to get the out.
I step on the base before the batter could.
I get the out for my team.
Once again, I get an applause from my teammates
Good game.
