Definitions
For the purposes of this International Standard, the following definitions apply:
Ductile Iron
Type of iron used for pipes, fittings and accessories in which
graphite is present primarily in spheroidal form.
Pipe
TCasting of uniform bore, with straight axis, having either socket,
spigot or flanged ends, except for flanged sockets, flanged spigots
and collars which are classified as fittings.
Fitting
Casting other than a pipe, which allows pipeline deviation, change
of direction or bore. In addition, flanged sockets, flanged spigots
and collars are also classified as fittings.
Accessory
Any casting other than a pipe or fitting, which is used in a pipeline,
such as:
• Glands and bolts for mechanical flexible joints
• Glands, bolts and locking rings or segments for restrained joints
NOTE: Valves and hydrants of all types are not covered by the

term accessory.
Male end of a pipe or fitting.
Flange
Flat, circular end of a pipe or fitting, extending perpendicular to its

tensile strength, ductility, corrosion resistance and impact resistance. WE ARE

External Coatings
Depending on the external conditions of use and taking into account

e Iron Fittings
Our Ductile Iron Fittings conforms to the national & international quality
standards. Our Ductile Iron Fittings have a high tensile strength which are
available in various dimensions. These ductile fittings are widely used and
are suitable for both joint- push on joint and mechanical joint.
External Coatings
Depending on external conditions of use and taking into account existing
national standards, the following coatings may be supplied:
• Bituminous paint or synthetic resin paint
• Epoxy
• Zinc with finishing layer
• Polyethylene sleeving
• Polyurethane

We at H.C. Jain Group are reflux valves provider. Our reflux valves are
used for various purposes. Primarily, they are used for reducing water
hammer and secondly, they are used for back flow of water pumps from
rising mains. As reflux valves provider, we offer the best quality as they are
quite durable to withstand the high pressure of water.
Applications

1. Check valves are used in pipe line to reduce water
hammer and to prevent back flow of water to the
pumps from rising mains.

having turbidity of 3000 ppm maximum within the
