CHARACTERISTICS AND ADVANTAGES
ALT posts are used as aids to navigation in and around ports and
harbours. Not only do they support
a lantern for night time beaconing,
they also act as a day mark.

Constructed in accordance with Eurocodes 1 and 3.
Calculated to withstand 200 km/h winds
The posts are built from stainless or
in hot dip galvanized steel painted in
accordance with IALA recommendations. The final result is a very strong,
weather resistant structure that can
be tailored to the customer’s requirements.

3 layer and 120 micron paint scheme

Designed to operate with lanterns from any manufacturer

Stainless steel anchor bolts; can be fastened using a chemical resin as an option

The ALT 7 posts are manufactured
to order and may be tailored to the
customer’s requirements. The ALT
7 posts incorporate a small interior
work platform, which allows operators to work under the maximum
safety conditions.
If more space is required, a larger exterior platform may be included. The
power systems can be stored inside
the tubular body.
