Fall Festival- Our Fall Festival was a great success! Thank you, Borman PTO Board –
Melodi Snapp, Ashley Patterson, and Sara Templeton - for your hard work and dedication
to making this a wonderful night for our Borman community. Thank you to the teachers
and staff also! The Trunk or Treating, costumes, food, Halloween pictures, balloons,
pumpkin painting, craft fair, cakewalk, and games all made for a memorable evening!
Sending thanks also to the Cienega High School ROTC members who volunteered. DM
Security Forces also volunteered their time and effort. Thank you all so very much! The
absolute best part of the evening was watching so many happy children enjoying time
with their families and friends!

Borman Cross Country – It’s been an amazing Cross Country season so far. We
have 2 remaining races before the Championship. The next meet is at Silverlake Park,
November 7th. Parents please have your child there NLT 3:15pm. Parents please pick up
your child at the basketball court at 3:15pm after each XC practice. On Wednesday
practice will be over by 2:15pm. Students will not be able to use the office phone to call
home. The Cross Country team will wear their team shirts on Tuesday
8 Nov, for yearbook pictures.
From the Health Office – Important Information
A fever is a warning that all is not right with the body. The best way to
check for a fever is with a thermometer. A child with a temperature of 100
degrees or over should be kept at home. When no thermometer is available,
check the child’s forehead with the back of your hand. If it is hot, keep
your child home until the temperature can be checked with a thermometer.
Do not allow your child to return to school until he/she has been free of
fever for over 24 hours. Thank you!
Picture Retakes - November 8th - If you would like your child to
have picture retakes, please make sure to send the first picture packet back
to school on November 8th.
Tax Credit- As 2016 begins to wrap up, I want to take this opportunity
to remind you about Arizona State Tax Credit Donations. If you pay
Arizona State taxes, you have the opportunity to participate in this program.
You can donate up to $400 if you file taxes jointly and $200 if you file
single.
This money goes directly to our school to be used for
extracurricular activities, such as sports, fine arts, and field trips. Please let
me know if you have any questions.
Principal’s Note- It seems that this fall has brought many changes to
Borman. We have had many families PCS or retire. Many of these families
have been in the Borman community for several years. We will miss you
all and are very grateful for the time we had to share together.
It is such an honor to be the principal at Borman. We have awesome
teachers, students, staff and parents! I am very grateful to be a member of
such a kind and dedicated community. Thank you all so very much for
helping make the first quarter of school amazing!
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy
Thanksgiving!
