7:00 pm to 8:00 pm – Presentation
More about the Topic:
Our last dinner meeting of the year gives our members a
chance to understand a practical approach to addressing
chemical usage and storage in multiuse facilities.
Our presentation will introduce the requirements of the
International Codes and the NFPA, which form the basis
of the chemical analysis needed.
The presentation will also introduce the steps involved in
conducting the analysis including developing an inventory
of the chemicals used in the building, extracting the
necessary information from the MSDS sheets, and
determining the classifications of the chemicals and their
compatibility along with the impacts on the Architectural,
Electrical and Mechanical Systems with the Buildings.

Product Features / Advertisements
Thank you to all of the companies and individuals that participated in our Product Feature / Advertisement fund raiser.
We raised hundreds of dollars for ASHRAE research and spread the word on many fine products and job postings
along the way. We’re still only about 50% toward our Research Promition goal however, and its still not too late to
make a meaningful contribution.
---Its been a pleasure being your Chapter president these last two years. I hope that our board and committee chairs have
met your expectations and that we have provided you with valuable monthly programs and useful ASHRAE news.
Steve Alauzen and his new committee members are anxious for next year, and they will continue the prestigious task
of promoting ASHRAE and the local industry.
