Wallerang is a Scandinavian e-bike manufacturer that builds and assembles e-bikes by hand in their own facilities
located in Gothenburg. Wallerang e-bikes are built using the skills of Scandinavian designers and are powered
using the lastest Japanese technology (Shimano STEPS mid drive motor & Shimano electronics)
MODEL
The Wallerang Smartbike M.01 is the first of a kind – an e-bike with a Modular Travel System that brings the right
level of integrated design, seamless operation and effortless performance. The Walleräng Modular Travel System
is an interchangeable travel system. It lets you customise your transportation solution with a single tool for
attachment of both the front and rear carrier (you can also ride without any attachment for the ultimate sleek look)
Shimano Steps is a system built around a frame-mounted drive unit. By integrating the drive unit around the
bottom bracket area, the weight is positioned low for easier handling. The essential electronics are incorporated
in the drive unit, making a reliable and weatherproof system. The system is light weight, has a large capacity
lithium-ion battery pack and an intelligent power management system. It will bring you further than ever before.

FRAME
Walleräng Scandinavian Design premium quality and style aluminum frame, with innovative features
comprising: Hydroformed tubes, premium polished welds: Low profile hydroformed down-tube design
adapted for compact and streamlined battery integration: Walleräng designed, 45-degree tilt, sporty STEPSmid-motor attachment: Unique modular head-tube platform attachment system - for attaching front transport
platform or emblem: One-size Medium (44 cm).
FORK
Walleräng Scandinavian Design aluminum fork, with streamlined fork crown design provided by alloy forging
technique.
WHEELS & TYRES
Double walled premium 27,5 inch (684mm) alloy rims with integrated eye-lets. Kenda Koast premium sport
27,5 inch tyre. Stainless steel, strong spokes engaging with rim eye-lets.
GEARS
Shimano Alfine 8 with Di2 Electronic Shifting. The Alfine is a stylish, premium-level component defining
premium quality, style, versatility, and effortless operation. The advantages of Di2 (Digital Integrated
Intelligence) in combination with STEPS e-bike drive system are clear for everybody who has tested it:
changing gears becomes easier, effortless and faster by simply touching the shift buttons. A shifter sends
an electronic signal to the optional motor unit, which initiates the gear change while ensuring for smooth and
precise cooperation with the STEPS drive system.
CHAIN
Shimano CN-E6070-9 premium e-bike chain, special for the STEPS system. A reinforced chain made by
shimano dedicated for E-bike usage. With Shimano SIL-TEC coating, a superior low friction chain surface
treatment including an advanced plating process that improves system performance through the use of
imbedded fluorine particles.
HANDLE BAR
Walleräng Design, medium reach handlebar, alloy, over-sized fitting.
GRIPS
HERRMANS® ADRENALIN 3D02 triple density grip is both ergonomic and adjustable. The 3D grip utilise
the Herrmans new Feather technology (F-Tech). The result is a strong, flexible and dynamic grip with
premium shock absorption to make your riding all the smoother.
BRAKES
Shimano Alfine high-grade Hydraulic disc brake set - front and rear. Ergonomic lever design for easy control
even in dry/wet conditions, and with Shimano XT Center Lock 160 mm Disc Rotor SM-RT81, a lightweight
premium rotor with ICE-technology for consistent cooling and performance, and 3-layer sandwich clad rotor
blade structure.
SEAT & SEAT POST
Comfort urban style Velo saddle, with 31,6 mm 3D forged PROMAX extra long seat post with high strengthto-weight ratio. Easy-access 5 mm bolt for quick and simple adjustments or saddle adjustment.
MUD GUARDS

Finish supplier: HERRMANS® SLYDE 38 adjustable chain guard has a modern design and stylish look.

and operated directly by STEPS handlebar mounted display unit.
