POSSIBILITIES OF CERTAIN PASSENGER INFORMATION
UNITS OUTSIDE THE EU
Hungary:
- Data can be kept for 5 years, after 30
days must be depersonalised, API data
must be deleted within 24 hours.
- Only the passenger data of commercial air
lines can be processed.
- API and PNR data shouldn’t be linked,
only in single cases, when deeper
analysis is required.
- PNR data mustn’t be linked to other data
bases, multitudinous search mustn’t be
carried out.
United States of America:
- Data can be kept for 5 years, after 6 months
must be depersonalised, but data can be kept
for 10 more years.
- Passenger and staff data of commercial- and
private airlines, the data of travellers coming and
leaving by water and by land, and the data of
goods traffic can be processed
- The databases can be connected, complex
searches can be carried out.
