This information is designed to enable parents/carers to have a clear idea of the expectations we have of our students.
It is important that students are encouraged to maintain the highest possible standards regarding their presentation.
The smart wearing of the school uniform is one way of projecting this image. The wearing of our school uniform is
something all parents/carers agreed to support when they chose our school for their daughter’s secondary education.
We are very grateful for the support we receive from our parents and carers in upholding our uniform regulations.
In order to clarify any queries you may have, the following example lists should ensure that parents/carers are aware of
what is acceptable and what is not.
Please ensure that you read this before purchasing any new uniform items. Students will not be allowed to wear nonuniform items even if they have just been purchased. The Headteacher will decide at her discretion on all matters
concerning interpretation of the student dress code, including matters not specifically covered in the student dress
code.
If you are unsure about any uniform purchase please contact your daughter’s Head of Year or refer to the Parent/Carer
and student Handbook on the school’s website.
There are four suppliers of uniform to the school. To ensure uniformity in material quality and colour, it is expected that
all purchases of uniform will be made from these shops:

Questions
What if my daughter has a medical condition or a doctor/medical practitioner advises her to wear trainers
or other non-uniform footwear?
A doctor’s letter must be provided and the Head of Year must be informed by a parent/carer of the situation.
The doctor’s letter will be kept on file by Mrs Hadjigeorge (Welfare Officer/Attendance).
What if the shoes are broken or lost?
Parent/carer must inform the school by writing a note in their daughter’s planner with a date by when the
new shoes will be purchased and worn.
What if shoes are left at another location?
The parent/ carer will be contacted and will be asked to make arrangements for the shoes to be delivered to
school.
