Dear President,
The International Senior Free style, Greco-Roman and Pahlavani wrestling Tournament ‘Takhti Cup’ will
be held on January 18-20, 2017 in Mashahd /IRAN by I.R.IRAN Wrestling Federation.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Composition of Invited national Wrestling Federations are :

 One international referee can attend for Free style and Greco-Roman teams.
 Referees for Pahlavani wrestling Federation will be invited by World Pahlavani wrestling
Federation .
2. Full accommodations from 18th January until morning of 21th January 2017 for Free style , GrecoRoman and Pahlavani style , and local transfer will be provided by IRAN Wrestling Federation.
3. All delegations have to arrange their travels to Iran. We will meet the teams at International Imam
Khomeini airport (IKA) or Mashhad International airport or any Iran borders.
4. In case of extra days and extra persons, each participant must pay 100 USD per person per day.
5. To accelerate visa process, please send the copy passport with nominative entry as soon as
possible.
6. The Tournament will be organized under the United World Wrestling Regulations on 4 approved
mats in following categories :
 Free style : 57 – 61- 65 – 70 – 74 – 86 – 97 – 125 kg
 Greco-Roman : 59 – 66 – 71 – 75 – 80 – 85 – 98 – 130 kg
 Pahlavai :60- 70- 80-90- 100 - +100 kg
 Tolerance : 2 kg.
7. Arrival of teams will be 17th January , weigh – in for all weight categories in Free style , GrecoRoman and Pahlavani will be on 18th January . The competition will be held in 2 days and
departure of teams is 21st January .

8. The tournament in Free style , Greco-Roman and Pahlavani will be held in team dual format with
following regulation:
If the number of participant teams is less than 6 teams; the competitions will hold in one group, If the
number of participant teams are between 6 to 10 teams; the competitions will hold in two groups and If the
number of participant teams are more than 10 teams; the competitions will hold in four groups.
If competitions hold in four groups, the first teams of each groups according to grouping(A,B,C,D) will
compete in semifinal and the winner teams of each group will compete in final and the loser teams will
compete for 3rd and 4th title. The second teams of each groups according to grouping will compete for title
5th , 6th , 7th and 8th . For 9th and 10th place the third teams of each group will compete the same.
 At the end of team dual competition ,in regard to individuals 'results of wrestlers in each
weight categories , the number of victories of each wrestler determine the wrestlers who
must compete for first to six titles in each weight categories.
Note 1: in the case of tie in number of victories for more than two wrestlers in each weight
categories , the following criteria determine the wrestlers for competing :
a) The result of direct match of wrestlers
b) Positive points
c) Number of victories by fall
d) Number of victories by technical superiority
e) Less losing technical points in the competitions
f) Quality of last match
Note 2: Quality of last match , is base on the classification of above items "a" to "e" in
each competition.
Note 3: victories by technical superiority means 8 point difference in Greco-Roman and 10
point in Free style .
Note 4: if the two wrestlers determine for classification matches , has direct competition in
preliminary rounds , the results of that match is base for classification and another match
will not hold for classification of those wrestler for first to six titles
9. All participants (also Pahlavani wrestlers) must have valid UWW licence .
