To ensure proper use and presentation, observe the following guidelines: • Never place a period after an SI symbol, unless it is at the end of a sentence. • A numeric value must always precede the SI symbol, and there must be a space between the digit(s) and the symbol. • Always present an SI symbol in its singular form. Never add an ‘s’ to the symbol to denote pluralization.
