“Enthusiasm is the mother of effort, and without it nothing great was ever achieved!” ~ R. W. Emerson
8:45 manny: gm everyone
8:46 manny: Locked and loaded for today. Going to check Cyn's work see if we line up.
8:48 andy: gm
8:48 Swordfish: Hi andy
8:49 manny: Weekly R1 1874.75 fwiw
8:56 manny: Anyones work differ from Cyn's? Anyone care to share their plan?
8:58 andy: TNX yields up
8:58 manny: 3% resistance
9:02 lendar79: Bids above 1872 should take it for a run up to 1882.50-1883. If it's trading above 1883 look for the old
highs of 1892.50.... if not support at 1866 then 1860.5-1858.5
9:03 niam: gm
9:03 andy: watching for possible open drive open, top of range, on inv leaning strong & long, cud rip higher or fail and
retrace, the other play is, out side day yday & side ways trade, compressed range waiting for news releases
9:05 manny: Thanks guys
9:06 manny: Overnight inventory long. Good piece of information. Open within range above value
9:06 lendar79: to be honest im looking down as low as 1824 with so many poor structures:)
9:08 manny: Also the last swing low was made during Globex session 1808ish so at some point we need to see what is
down there during RTH.
9:09 manny: However working a weekly time frame momentum favors a "look above" ATH first imo
9:11 manny: Homework:
9:11 manny: > Yesterday saw the "markets need to break before they can rally scenario" and it was done on relatively
high volume.
> We managed a close above the 1865 previous balance high above last weeks mid and high. Today is turn around
Tuesday. Keep in mind fed day set up.
9:14 jojo: gm everyone
9:14 manny: for me going to be mindfull of 2 things
9:15 manny: Not being to confident after a great day.
9:15 manny: And we may compress after and large range day
9:18 Birdy: gm traders
9:19 jojo: gm birdy
9:19 Birdy: Hi jojo
9:19 Cynthia E: Good Morning Traders
1
9:20 jojo: gm cyn
9:20 alice: morning all
9:20 Birdy: gm Cyn, alice
9:20 Carol: gm all
9:20 Birdy: gm Carol
9:20 Carol: hi Birdy
9:20 Cynthia E: http://www.fluiditytrader.com/shared/Snagit38.png
9:21 Hawk: gm Cyn, everyone
9:21 Birdy: high Hawk
9:22 Cynthia E: Overnight inventory is 100% long, price is setting up to open right at the YH to test for an upside
breakout.
9:24 Cynthia E: As we get rolling this morning our immediate references are the YH / ONH level, and the POC / ONL
level
9:26 Cynthia E: Keep in mind that traders went home long yesterday from the rally up off 1844, and the worst they had
to endure into the close was 1863 (the O period low)
9:27 Cynthia E: Thus, if price starts to fall below 1863, those traders that got long late in the day as well as those in the
overnight will start to be under pressure.
9:27 Cynthia E: http://www.fluiditytrader.com/shared/Snagit39.png
See Chart on Next Page:
2
9:28 Cynthia E: On 3600, the trend started yesterday afternoon has continued in the overnight.
9:28 Cynthia E: The WMA continues to hold as support, with price well over the CL, and all indicators are strong
bullish.
9:29 Cynthia E: 1 min to go! ;)
9:30 Cynthia E: Layla
9:31 Cynthia E: Once again this morning, on the opening drive - price failed to rally up to the YH level to take out the
POC at 71.75
9:32 Hawk: Didnt the POC get taken out yesterday?
9:32 forty1973: Good Morning Traders!!
9:32 Cynthia E: Yes but only to the tick; therefore, it is clear that it is still a strong resistance point that hasn't really been
broken through
9:33 Cynthia E: Now pressing again
9:33 manny: L71
9:33 Cynthia E: 3600 will trigger a continuation long with the breakout from the YH / ONH level
9:33 Hawk: ok thnx
9:33 jjflash: lp 70.75
9:34 DJ: lp 71.75
9:34 jjflash: +1
9:34 manny: Flat b/e
9:35 Cynthia E: DJ congrats! I read back on chat for yesterday, and saw that you are in week 12 of your Fortitude test!
Excellent! :)
9:35 manny: Early yet...
3
9:35 DJ: Thanks...it has really helped my discipline
9:36 manny: Way to go DJ!
9:36 manny: Confidence in key.
9:36 DJ: stopped out -2
9:36 lendar79: short 1870
9:36 Cynthia E: Outstanding DJ
9:37 manny: I love knowing what Im going to do from my homework and plan and executing.
9:37 Cynthia E: There was the "look above and fail" relative to the YH (we did NOT get the upside breakout)
9:37 Cynthia E: Very small hidden divergence present on 3600
9:38 Rhemabound: DAX neutral to weak on 5 min
9:38 lendar79: aapl colapsed:)
9:39 manny: L70
9:39 Cynthia E: Bull flag developing between 68 and 72
9:40 lendar79: long aapl weeklys 600
9:41 manny: Looked below DO and a peek at value and failed.
9:41 manny: ON high look above get the stops and fail or look above and find acceptance. Lets see
9:41 Cynthia E: Great thinking Manny
9:42 Cynthia E: ERG is trying to cross the signal line as that test is occurring at the ONH
9:42 DJ: Still choppy
9:42 manny: Stopped for +1
9:42 Rhemabound: yes ...me waits :)
9:43 Cynthia E: ERG continues to show divergence as the breakouts fail to occur, CL is catching up here as the
consolidation continues
9:43 manny: Plenty of day left. Ill let someone elses money figure out the direction then get on board. LOL
9:44 lendar79: flat wekklys goog 620
9:45 lendar79: flat nflx 325 weeklys
9:47 lendar79: I dont like it at all
9:47 Cynthia E: The sideways consolidation is a small enough range that the LT STO has not declined yet at all, but
ERG is struggling to cross the signal line
9:48 Cynthia E: Value is developing within yesteday's excess high range, but there has been no upward volume
acceleration
9:50 Cynthia E: Early action is now developing an ascending triangle
9:51 andy: 10:00am et Consumer #
9:52 manny: Think if we were going to auction lower we would be back into yesteredays value by now.
9:52 manny: Anything can happen.
9:52 Rhemabound: long GOOG
9:53 Birdy: lp 72.75
9:53 manny: NQ has a poor high and is above value TF is above value
9:53 Birdy: tight leash
9:54 andy: bears defending 73.50 so far
9:54 Cynthia E: Here is the LONG OPPORTUNITY at 73 (monitor YH as mental stop, we need to stay outside
yesterday's range for upward continuation) .... This is the FIRST move out from the ONH so it is not wrong to wait for the
2nd move (higher probability on 2nd moves)
9:54 Rhemabound: long GOOG on wkly 50 bounce and daily 200 bounce
9:55 Hawk: lp 72.75
9:55 lendar79: $Z target 103?
9:55 manny: L73.25
9:55 jjflash: lp 73.25
9:55 manny: watch 74.75 Weekly R1
9:58 Birdy: out b/e not enough mojo yet
9:59 Cynthia E: Showing weakness longs would be out there B/E (if you were being very conservative), if you were
being more aggressive on really forcing it to fail - you would continue to monitor the YH
9:59 lendar79: long aapl 582.5 weeklys
9:59 jjflash: -0.75
9:59 lendar79: apple 582.5 puts weeklys
9:59 Cynthia E: Which just broke - longs would be out there below YH
4
9:59 Hawk: -1
10:01 Cynthia E: Now we are still uptrending relative to the CL, but ERG has really flattened as price has chopped.
10:01 Rhemabound: Cons Conf pretty much in line
10:02 Cynthia E: C is now open in the middle of the B period range and working to create the 2nd ONH breakout
10:04 lendar79: is anyone having problems with placing options?
10:05 Rhemabound: not I - some quotes were missing at open - but ok now
10:05 manny: flat -1.25
10:05 Cynthia E: C is now once again moving back inside the YH range
10:06 Cynthia E: Very low confidence open, no directional drive
10:06 manny: 1 more shot @ 72.25
10:06 Cynthia E: Shorts covered in yesterday's "45 degree line", longs are just waiting to get paid - and there is no "new
prices" to drive STF to "pile in" again just yet
10:07 andy: soh here
10:07 lendar79: for
10:08 Cynthia E: Remember the limit is 1-3 GREAT trades a day.
10:09 traderKen: time will get CL to meet WMA about 1870 unless we drop
10:09 Cynthia E: The goal is not to have serveral little scalps for +1 or +.75, you are looking for trade opportunities that
set up the potential for your +3s or more!
10:09 lendar79: for $aapl players: aapl is planing multipart bond offering and the last time it happened 4/30/13 $aapl sold
off 18% just an fyi
10:09 manny: flat -3 ticks
10:11 Hawk: sp 71
10:11 Cynthia E: Here is the CL BREAK, but the ERG hasn't quite crossed the zero line
10:12 Cynthia E: Price hasn't broken below DO just yet either
10:12 lendar79: correction: $TLT sold off 18%
10:12 Rhemabound: interesting info lendar - appreciate it
10:12 Rhemabound: (always appreciate your info Cyn - and others too - love this room)
10:13 manny: I just checked my fill....slippage stinks. Thought it was a 3tick out. Was really a -1.25. Blah
10:13 Cynthia E: Price needs to move down inside yesterday's distribution and take out the ONL and the O period low at
1863 to really start to pressure current longs to liquidate
10:15 Cynthia E: Here is the CL BREAK SHORT OPPORTUNITY at 69
10:15 Cynthia E: Target becomes the ONL
10:18 Cynthia E: CL RETEST developing
10:19 Cynthia E: This is why Mr. A likes to wait for the WMA to cross the CL, because when the CL BREAK rolls into
the CL RETEST, price will often bounce to retest the WMA as resistance prior to continuing, and if it doesn't continue - it
creates a bit more risk in the trade
10:21 jjflash: sp 69.50
10:24 Cynthia E: Volume and pace matching the low confidence day and environment
10:25 manny: S69.
10:25 Cynthia E: 2 bars tested exactly to the WMA (which is what Mr. A monitors) :0
10:25 Cynthia E: :)
10:26 Cynthia E: So if you trade the CL BREAKS very often you simply have to sit and wait through the CL RETEST
moves
10:26 manny: Come to papa.
10:26 jjflash: boom +3 and done for day +3.25 total
10:26 Cynthia E: Target is still the YC / ONL level
10:26 Hawk: +4.5
10:27 lendar79: we r not done yet:)
10:27 lima: Gm all, and gj Jj
10:27 Cynthia E: Outstanding JJ, very nice Hawk! Excellent job Guys!
10:27 Cynthia E: ^ 3
10:27 alice: gj all
10:27 jjflash: thx Lima
10:27 Hawk: I am lendar:)
10:27 Cynthia E: Yep! BOOM! There is the +3 fill from the 69 entry at 65.75
10:27 Carol: cheers jj & Hawk
5
10:28 jjflash: thx Carol Alice Cyn
10:28 Hawk: thanx all
10:29 Hawk: have a nice day, see you tomorrow
10:30 alice: bye Hawk
10:30 manny: 65s are important on my work.
10:30 Carol: bye Hawk
10:30 manny: Break below could get slippery
10:30 manny: 2pts locked going to let'er breathe
10:30 Cynthia E: For those trading more mechanically on the Histogram, the first move out as usual will remove stops the bounce or 2nd move would be a "mechanical histogram short" (but not necessarily good trade location relative to the
3600)
10:30 Cynthia E: Great job Hawk! Have a great day!
10:30 Birdy: gj Hawk
10:31 manny: +2
10:31 Carol: ^2 manny
10:32 Cynthia E: So far "fail to even look 'at' the ONL and fail" (bouncing off the ONL level)
10:32 Cynthia E: Keep in mind we are in a "low confidence" environment
10:33 Cynthia E: That increases odds that mechanical levels will create responsive action (bounces at mechanical
resistance and support levels).
10:33 Cynthia E: So taking profits within the defined ranges is logical .....
10:33 Cynthia E: LOW CONFIDENCE = " small opportunity days"
10:35 manny: Spec long with wider risk
10:35 lendar79: "who said people are logical, Spock"?
10:36 manny: Being in that short think kept me out of the better long...we'll see
10:38 Cynthia E: The breakdown to the ONL has allowed the LT STO to begin trending lower
10:39 Cynthia E: Price retesting the CL / WMA / HW and DO as resistance here now
10:40 Cynthia E: The massively aggressive entry on the next short would be there at those references around 69.50 (but
if you take those trades you aren't giving the market the opportunity to show that the direction is reversing prior to
entering).
10:40 Cynthia E: You would simply be entering the the hope and expectation that those levels will indeed hold as
resistance.
10:41 Cynthia E: Otherwise, you would wait for price to actually reject there and enter short as the ST STO turn back
lower and ERG confirms.
10:41 Rhemabound: I did exit GOOG about 10 mins ago - slow to report - sorry - 10 mos old Max in the mix
10:45 Cynthia E: Now retesting YH as resistance (ERG retesting zero line as resistance)
10:47 manny: 65s held it up so far. Been watching that refrence for over a week
10:47 Cynthia E: Keep the Morning Update and Big picture in mind here as well.
10:47 Cynthia E: the # 1 key level right now is the 2 week upper balance high on the WEEKLY at 1866.50!
10:48 Cynthia E: it is where we rallied to and closed at yesterday
10:48 manny: :)
10:48 Cynthia E: The ONL and the LOD scattered just a bit past it - but overall the level is holding as support!
10:50 Cynthia E: http://www.fluiditytrader.com/shared/Snagit40.png
See Chart on Next Page:
6
10:50 Cynthia E: Here is the WEEKLY
10:51 manny: yep
10:51 manny: yep
10:51 manny: Was resistance last monday
10:51 manny: Then support tues-thurs
10:51 Cynthia E: We had 2 tests down to the 50% normal retracement level. Both Held - that increases odds for overall
uptrend continuation. Remember that probability doesn't shift to reversal until we break the 61.8% level. 50% is still just
"normal profit taking"
10:53 Cynthia E: Then yesterday - price broke lower (short term traders were too long, the old "break before the rally"
move) and price moved right to the WEEKLY swing high at 1844.50 prior to finding responsive buyers that squeezed the
"pile in day time frame shorts" into covering.
10:53 jojo: bye everyone
10:53 alice: bye jojo
10:53 Cynthia E: The close was right at this key resistance level, and this morning (as suggested in pg 2 Morning
Update) - we have been above the 66.50 level all morning, therefore, that is bullish relative to the WEEKLY perspective
10:53 Carol: bye jojo
10:53 Cynthia E: Have a GREAT day jojo - see you tomorrow!
10:54 Cynthia E: This morning the internals have also supported the bullish tone, breadth has trended steadily higher
throughout the morning.
10:55 Cynthia E: It doesn't mean that we won't find opportunity to the short side, like the CL BREAK trade just taken;
however, it is important to stay focused on the key levels and the longer term perspective so that your expectation doesn't
get over-extended.
10:56 Cynthia E: Once again - the key levels needed to cause longs to get into a forcing action position is a break of the
ONL and the pull back low at 63. Otherwise, they are inclined to hold on for better profits with all other factors in their
favor (meaning the long term perspective)
10:57 Cynthia E: 1871.75 still creating strong resistance for the buyers on the top side
10:57 Cynthia E: D period has looked 1 tick above 71.75
7
10:57 Cynthia E: Overall today's histogram is moving 1 TF DOWN from the open
10:58 Cynthia E: There is no doubt that failed acceleration and slowed upside follow through is weighing on the minds
of longs here (meaning the weak handed longs). The longer they hold without seeing the upside breakout, the more
nervous and anxious they become)
10:59 Cynthia E: * . not ) :)
11:15 Cynthia E: Caution here now.
11:15 Cynthia E: That is a big drop; however, CL and WMA are now flat and overlapped
11:16 lendar79: if aapl brakes 589 target 582.84 and /es will follow down
11:19 manny: b/e stop not going to fall in love with this idea
11:22 Rhemabound: AAPL has some retracing to do anyway - one would think - so note taken on your numbers lendar :)
11:25 lendar79: for now im playing aapl both ways : weeklys 600 calls and 582.5 puts
11:27 manny: Nothing but bad memories for me trading AAPL weeklys. God I stunk at it
11:29 lendar79: after last earnings aapl is a fresh kill.... with time its will calm down and loose interest like any other
temporary stock star:)
11:29 manny: In other news. Day 5 of my 7 day juice clense. Havent had a solid meal since thursday. Almost there.
11:30 Rhemabound: makes sense - that sentiment rhythm imo
11:30 manny: Lendar I was thinking it held well yesterday while indexes where down. Thought it might be a good value
with the dividend and all
11:31 Rhemabound: wow Manny - you should be sparkly clean when you get done - toxins be gone
11:31 manny: Yep
11:31 Cynthia E: Once again the move held, ERG bounced off zero line rather than breaking back lower.
11:31 manny: Twice a year
11:32 Cynthia E: Back to YH / ONH - attempting 2nd upside breakout here once again
11:33 Cynthia E: Whoo Hoo! Go Manny Go! That is fantastic!
11:33 Cynthia E: Juice Fasting is one of the best things we can do for ourselves.
11:33 manny: yep
11:34 manny: My wife just txt me that she closes her eyes and see food. LOL. Told her we are in the home stretch babe
hand in there.
11:34 Cynthia E: Drinking my breakfast still now (Spinach, Pineapple, Strawberries, and Blueberries blended with
Alkaline water). And I have my Kale Lemonade (Kale, Spinach, Cucumber, Green Apple, and Lemon) juiced fresh and
in the fridge for the day)! :)
11:35 manny: Wow. Thats GREAT CYN. You go!
11:35 Cynthia E: :)
11:35 Cynthia E: We also juice a minimum of 15 lbs of straight carrot juice each week.
11:35 jjflash: yes very good. I juice also. Looking for some good recipes though
11:35 Cynthia E: This is just our regular stuff - we add much more during the juice fasts!
11:36 Cynthia E: Glad to hear you are doing that Manny - so good for you!
11:36 Cynthia E: Yes indeed - hang in there wife! Drink to good health!
11:36 manny: yep I just had carrot, apple, beet, lemon, cucumber and celery.
11:36 Cynthia E: Everyone should watch the video "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" - absolutely amazing
11:37 jjflash: yes...good movie
11:37 Cynthia E: Nice! I can do all that except the celery (hate celery) lol
11:37 jjflash: amazing how many diseases and problems disappear
11:37 Cynthia E: Unbelieveable!
11:37 Cynthia E: Including Cancer!
11:37 manny: Yes as well as Hungry for Change. both on Netflix
11:38 Cynthia E: Great friend of mine had Stage 4 Prostate cancer, given 6 months or less to live.
11:38 Rhemabound: wow - now I KNOW I'm in the right place - have been slacking on my barley green - cuz of busy
schedule - yet when I am consistent - I never get sick - THAT's it - tomorrow - back on track!
11:38 Cynthia E: He declined chemo and radiation and took up healthy diet, juicing, and changing his body to alkaline.
11:39 Rhemabound: that is awesome!
11:39 Cynthia E: 3 years later he is 100% cancer free, COPD free, heart disease free (had 2 heart attacks), and he bikes
and hikes over 20 miles each week - loving life with his grandkids!
11:39 Rhemabound: long GOOg AGAIN
11:39 Birdy: just sayin' look what happened to Steve Jobs when he didn't get treatment,
11:39 manny: amazing!
8
11:39 Cynthia E: Yes - get that barley green going.
11:39 Cynthia E: Birdy - I would ask what he did instead.
11:40 Cynthia E: For alkaline diet to work - one has to be a total extremist :)
11:40 Birdy: I think he tried to self medicate with nutrition only.
11:40 lendar79: he declined chemo and radiation with cancer?
11:41 Cynthia E: Absolutely NO out to eat - no processed salad dressings, no meat, no dairy, ZERO processed foods of
ANY kind, no sugar. Diet has to be 100% clean and he would have needed to drink 50 lbs of carrot juice a week on his
own
11:41 manny: My wife washes here face with Alkaline water. Tell her it makes all the differnce. I really cant tell
11:41 Birdy: pancreatic cancer, deadly
11:42 manny: Havent had solid food since thursday. Extreme. Key is post clense. Have to use it as a spring board. We do
it twice a year
11:42 Cynthia E: I have personally known 4 people now that declined chemo and radiation and choose to GET
HEALTHY through diet and alkaline change. All 4 now do not have cancer at all, and all 4 were diagnosed stage 4 with
less than 6 months left to live.
11:43 manny: I believe it. Do yourselves a favor and watch the documentaries we posted.
11:43 Birdy: I'm all for good nutrition, just don't ask me to walk to the front and drink the "juice" with everyone. lol
11:43 manny: Also watch Food Inc.
11:43 Cynthia E: Forks over Knives is also a good video
11:43 Cynthia E: lol Birdy
11:44 jjflash: any good references on juice recipes (I have tried many but still serching) and alkaline diets would be
appreciated
11:44 Cynthia E: Actually good nutrition is simple.
11:44 Cynthia E: Our bodies are 78% liquid / fluid / water.
11:44 manny: Lol...yep. We have seen them all. We put some focus into what we eat and try to be mindful of our bodies
11:44 Cynthia E: Bottom line we are a fish bowl or swimming pool.
11:44 lendar79: veggi and fruit juice might help prevent cancer but to cure it completly thats a big NO
11:45 Cynthia E: If you get a nice gold fish and don't clean out the fish bowl for 3 months - the fish will be dead and the
water black.
11:45 Cynthia E: Now think of your insides.
11:45 Cynthia E: Except its probably been 20 years since a good clean out.
11:46 Cynthia E: It is breeding grounds for disease and cancer! The perfect growing enviroment for bacteria, molds, etc
11:46 Cynthia E: Lendar - I humbly disagree - I've seen it in person too many times now. I KNOW it to be true.
11:47 lendar79: NO
11:48 Cynthia E: It is very simply a question of ACID vs. Alkaline Balance.
11:48 Cynthia E: If you are acid - you are sick.
11:48 cycle: Cancer can't live in a 8-8.5 PH enviroment. Alkaline diet much better than chemotherapy and radiation.
11:48 Cynthia E: If you are alkaline - you cannot be sick. Cancer cannot live in an oxygenated environment.
11:48 Cynthia E: Yep! There ya go Cycle! You said it!
11:48 Birdy: sorry I have to tune this out, not my belief
11:50 lendar79: I lost my two uncles and few of my friends to cancer obe of thes as young as 12 and my father is fight
bone cancer.... no juice or holly water will help
11:50 jjflash: from my experience as a caretaker, chemo, radiation, experimental medicines "can be (since there are many
levels of chemo, etc)" devistating and hasten the demise and make their existance a living hell
11:50 manny: Sorry to hear that Lendar.
11:51 Cynthia E: Otto Warburg was a biochemist awarded the Nobel Prize in 1931 for his proof that "Cancerous tissues
are acidic, whereas healthy tissues are alkaline. All normal cells have an absolute requirement for oxygen, but cancer can
live without oxygen. Deprive a cell 35% of its oxygen for 48 hours and it can become cancerous." Warburg won the
prize because he determined that the root cause of cancer is oxygen deficiency which creates an acidic state in the human
body."
11:52 Rhemabound: personally - my health habits were awful - I did however take barley green and msm every morning
first thing religiously for 6 years - People at the office would all get the freight train flu - I never got sick - they asked what is up? I said get on the green juice - I do so believe in it.
11:53 Cynthia E: So sorry to hear that Lendar.
11:53 Rhemabound: I think our immune systes do an amazing job when we give them what they need - toxins - dyes preservatives ....sugar - not helping them
9
11:53 Rhemabound: yes - that is devastating - sorry to hear that Lendar
11:53 jjflash: my wife wasted away literally to sking and bones accelerated by Chemo and radaition...i never seen
anything like it except in pictures of people who were in concentration camps. Personally juicing can't hurt
11:54 toka: I am a meat and potatoes farm boy and I rarely get sick, I am exposed to all sort of bacteria and pathogens on
a regular basis and have a lot of immunity
11:54 jjflash: sorry lendar
11:54 alice: sorry Rhema
11:54 Cynthia E: I would highly recommend for your father that you research the work of Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Dr.
Joel Fhurman, Dr. McDougall, Dr. Young. These books are actually all posted on the FT site under EDUCATION -->
Health and Wellness! :)
11:54 toka: my kids have been exposed since they could walk and they rarely get sick
11:55 Rhemabound: as a farm boy - do you eat lotsa fresh veggies and fruits toka? - am curious
11:55 toka: our bodies depend on bacteriaq and other "germs" for normal function
11:56 manny: toka I have a 2.5yr old she participates also :)
11:56 Cynthia E: I'm fine with germs :) It is whether the body is acid or alkaline balance. I'm a farm girl too - and dirt
can't hurt! ;)
11:56 Cynthia E: Actually dirt is good! Full of minerals! ;) lol
11:57 Carol: sorry for your loss Lendar
11:57 toka: I eat whatever my wife puts on the table and usually too much of it, that is my biggest drawback eating too
much luckly I don't have a tendency to get fat as fta is definitely a problem
11:58 manny: Yes cyn we are not the parent that walk around with hand sanitizer for our little one. Build up the immune
system
11:58 toka: too many city kids live in a sterile enviroment and never de3velop their immune system and suffer for it later
in life
11:58 jjflash: I remeber my grandma watching one of my relatives babies setting on the ground and was eating dirt. The
mother went crazy and Grandma said leave her alone...she probably needs something in the dirt....lol. But then again she
wanted to treat earaches with the babies urine (yes, real treatments use uric acid)
12:00 toka: thats a great story jj love it about grandmas cures
12:00 jjflash: ah the good ol days....lol. I used to go to the hills to get her roots for her tea
12:01 Cynthia E: Totally agree Toka - immunity is important
12:01 Cynthia E: haha! That's great jj. My grandmother still has those 'ole remedies! Love it!
12:02 alice: for someone living with a chronic disease, diet isn't everything..many factors come into play, esp.gentics
12:03 toka: genetics is a huge factor, look at the skinny 40 year old having heart bypass surgery
12:04 Cynthia E: Actually - even Cycle brought a new piece of info to my attention the other day when we were joking
about root canals. Now I'll be asking everyone I know that is ill, if they have ever had a root canal.
12:07 Rhemabound: the body is an amazing machine - I saw a documentary 'The Incredible Human Machine' one time will never forget the syncronization that goes on - phenomenal.
12:08 Rhemabound: have heard references to that Cyn - made sense to me when one Dr. commented 'when you have bad
teeth' your immune system is compromised cuz it's busy addressing the toxic stuff goin on with the teeth - seems logical
to me
12:09 Cynthia E: Great health is actually a very complex subject when you dig in and really start researching good
health vs. studying disease and illness. It is fascinating when you really start reading the literature. As mentioned there
are several good literature recommendations on the site under the Education tab. They've been there since we opened the
site! ;)
12:10 Cynthia E: Actually - it's funny this topic is coming up today and many of you probably don't remember this - but
back in the good 'ole days on TOS - Cynthia E became well known for health tips before the trading questions were even
brought up! LOL
12:11 Cynthia E: The infamous email list was created for health articles originally rathe than trade articles.
12:11 Rhemabound: I do not remember it - but I was there - must have been yet another thing that intrigued me about you
Cyn :)
12:11 Cynthia E: And I'm monitoring the market here all while we are talking.
12:12 Cynthia E: 1871.75 still holding the market down
12:13 Cynthia E: The entire day has developed a bull flag between 65.25 and 74 with yesterday's rally up as the flag
pole
12:13 lendar79: alkaline water or ionized water is a scam. raising alkalinity of water dowsnt do much for u. there is no
mention of it by FDA CDC EPA or any other medical website.
10
12:13 Rhemabound: no worries mon, - I know you are Cyn :)
12:13 lendar79: its all "snake water"
12:13 lendar79: nice price tag 3000$? lol
12:14 lendar79: maybe I should get in bussines
12:15 manny: hmmm
12:16 Rhemabound: I dunno lendar - FDA gets half of its funding from it's pharmaceutical companies - sounds like
confict of interest there to me - their credibility is questionable imo
12:17 andy: wedge on 14400 ,72.50, goona break high trig stops or fail and test lower trendline
12:17 lendar79: its a snake water that will cost u 3000$
12:17 Rhemabound: and as for the alkalinity - the body does need a balance of PH - our diets these days typicall tilt that
PH to the acidic level - PH balance matters
12:18 manny: Andy profile looks done to the upside..no?
12:19 andy: looks to be short covering, imo, likely stops above 73.50 area if they press
12:19 Cynthia E: Yes very small range Manny.
12:20 Cynthia E: Poor low - slight excess on the top side
12:22 manny: NQs new high and repair of yesterdays highs. Think if that gets the "look above and fail" look to it we are
done to the upside in ES
12:23 Cynthia E: Great observation Andy!
12:24 andy: :)
12:24 Cynthia E: So let's review the day!
12:24 Cynthia E: At the open the 3600 was strong bullish.
12:24 Cynthia E: Price opened near the YH / ONH breakout, but failed to breakout.
12:25 Cynthia E: If you took the long there should have been very small loss or B/E trade.
12:25 Cynthia E: Patiently waiting for the next trade to set up, took us short at the CL BREAK (or you could have
waited for the CL RETEST to enter).
12:26 Cynthia E: The target on the short was the YC / ONL area which was tagged to within 1 tick (low
confidence day = small opportunity targets).
12:26 Cynthia E: Price bounced at the ONL (rather than breaking out), and then the potential continuation short
at the CL rejection failed, and price moved into a balanced rotation.
12:27 Cynthia E: So 2 trades today would have been good for either +3 or just under depending on outcome of
first trade.
12:27 Cynthia E: Comments or questions on today's action or setups?
12:29 jjflash: nope. Thanks Cyn
12:30 niam: Thanks
12:30 manny: thanks for sharing your thoughts on the clense Cyn. Not for everyone but like with most things it is what
you make it.
12:30 Irish: good afternoon all!
12:31 Cynthia E: Indeed Manny - congrats on it! Tell your wife to hang in there! It's so good for you both! ;)
12:33 manny: Yep :)
12:33 Cynthia E: Alright gang! We are starting to potentially get that upside breakout now, just be aware that the POC
is already 6 wide - so without a strong double distribution day - extension remains limited to "small opportunities"
12:33 lendar79: thanks for sharing but u know what they say faith makes all the evidence irrelevant...:)
12:34 manny: Shes tough. Shes was a stand out Soccer player full college scholarship.

12:34 Cynthia E: Here is the histo update.
12:34 Cynthia E: I prefer to think of it as knowledge is power! ;)
12:35 Cynthia E: Just like great trading! The more homework you do, the more you know! ;)
12:35 manny: Poor high. Potential DD? Above 78 is possible
12:35 Irish: S 74.75, tight stop
12:36 Cynthia E: Everyone have a fantastic day, and we'll see you all tomorrow. It's wacky Wednesday time! ;)
12:36 Cynthia E: Bye all! ;)
12:36 manny: bye Cyn
12:36 cycle: bye
12:36 alice: bye
12:37 Rhemabound: thanks Cyn - always appreciate your insights - have a great day - and stay safe over there. :)
12:37 Cynthia E: Will do. Thanks all!
12:39 Irish: Have a great one Cyn!
12:43 manny: TF at VAH
12:47 alice: painfully slow
12:47 manny: Yes alice. Nice hold. Salute.
12:47 alice: not fun
12:48 alice: even up
12:48 manny: Yuh
13:03 Rhemabound: I confess I'm dumb as a box of rocks when it comes to volume profile - I have some knowledge but
am far where I think I should be - would someone be so kind as to interpet the ES position from a volume profile
standpoint? I realize Cyn has it posted on screen - but that was a bit ago - can I say that 1871.75 was the key number
based on volume profile - when she posted this? - sorry for lengthy question!
13:07 alice: Rhem did u get my PM
13:08 Irish: out +2
12
13:08 Carol: wtg Irish
13:09 alice: gj Irish
13:09 Rhemabound: I did Alice - tending to my grandson at the moment - was going to try to let you know I need to put
the question on hold .....thx and I will re-ask when I can!
13:09 alice: ok
13:10 manny: Nice work Irish.
13:10 Irish: thx Carol and Alice, small op day, taking what's there with YH just below.

13:20 Irish: L 72
13:20 Irish: for a scalp
13:25 manny: Anyone in here know much about head and shoulder patterns?
13:29 Irish: out +1
13:29 andy: http://thepatternsite.com/hst.html#HST1
13:30 manny: thanks Andy, forgot about Bulkowski
14:11 manny: 2pm go or no go for bulls
14:11 andy: 10pts of range
14:13 andy: higher lows, auction below 71 breaks
14:20 Irish: have a great close all, see you tomorrow.
14:20 alice: bye Irish
14:20 Carol: bye Irish
14:21 andy: cya
14:22 Irish: fyi, POC is just below YH (1 tick) and value building above YH. Here's an updated histo.
14:22 Carol: thx Irish
14:22 Irish: http://www.ensignsupport.com:12001/graphics/tue/AD681486-138.png
13
14:22 alice: thxs
14:22 Irish: J pullback was 2 tick look below YH and fail.
14:23 Irish: cya
14:27 Rhemabound: NQ - how nice to see you - ok, - now HIKE!
14:27 lendar79: I thought that NBA press conference is going to move markets at least 5 /es pt lol
14:27 Rhemabound: ha - surprised it didn't
14:31 lendar79: $xle looks like inverted hammer forming on daily and $xle hit top of the channel on weekly... start to
take profits in energy
14:33 Rhemabound: dang ZB alll frisky and stuff
14:47 manny: Stop 71.50 on this all day long. Ugh.
14:51 manny: Not sure why im still in this...4 reasons to get out right now. 1 to stay in
14:53 Rhemabound: nice call on XLE lendar
14:54 manny: Hey Lendar where are you short from?
14:56 lendar79: all day short 1870
14:57 manny: lack of participation on both sides.
14:58 lendar79: it was a nice call on $xle few weeks ago when it broke 88.5 to the upside:)
14:58 Rhemabound: 3:00 EST -- see if some cowboys show up
15:01 manny: L period 5 ticks. 5! TICKS! Really?!?
15:01 Rhemabound: wow - I see that
15:01 Rhemabound: XLE breakout that is
15:01 manny: What is this Globex?
15:02 Rhemabound: lol manny - it's a test
15:02 manny: Dont "they" know that I want to get paid and leave.
15:03 Rhemabound: I think mayyyybe - the pre FOMC hebbie jeebs - or they're just waiting for the show - Elvis kinda
thing - everything else is of no importance - ha
15:04 Rhemabound: lol - yeah they know - but they want their money too probably - the game goes on and on and on
15:05 Rhemabound: I feel like I need to run around the block - these 30 min doji candles are killin me
15:07 Rhemabound: maybe it will pop out of this range like a big tiddly-wink POP - ah - guess maybe I do need to get
up and run around the block - my brain taking a hit here - lol
15:08 lendar79: poor structure today again so im thinking they might clear weak longs
15:12 Rhemabound: hmm - the 2nd half of day after last fomc 3/19 was quite bearish - would fit in to that puzzle - traders
a little spooked to hold into fomc maybe
15:14 manny: Odds favor a gap higher tomorrow
15:15 Rhemabound: ok - outta GOOG
15:16 lendar79: /es and /ym is ready for new highs /tf and /nq not really
15:16 manny: Yep hard for market in general to rally without those 2 leading
15:17 manny: 2013 NQ and TF where unstoppable.
15:18 manny: Strange to because earnings have been decent for the most part
15:19 manny: P shape. Longs dont get paid and head for the exits this will break fast.
15:19 manny: On my work that break would be bullish for tomorrows open
15:21 lendar79: earnings are crap and fixed for the most of the time
15:22 manny: Of course.
15:22 lendar79: beat on eps is due to cost cuts and sending jobs overseas
15:22 lendar79: and my favourite p/e expansion
15:23 manny: Love how the industry norm is to use forward projected P/E ratios instead of trailing.
15:24 manny: Can you get a more balanced profile than todays TF/
15:24 lendar79: now that cheap money is running out and fed will strat downsizing balance sheet and company cant show
reveniue this market is going down big
15:25 lendar79: I was talking about housing today with few of my friends and we got to interesting conclusion
15:26 lendar79: 2006 everybody got long houses before 2008 fall and most of the people are waiting for prices to get
back to the level they got in and sell it
15:27 lendar79: have u noticed that renting market is growing becuse its cheaper and u dont have to worry about costs
15:27 manny: What do you consider going down big? 100pts? 200pts? 300pts?
15:28 lendar79: QE inflated /es by around 400 pt
15:29 Rhemabound: yeah we were talking about it to lendar - big undercurrent is not as positive as it's made out to be - I
agree - it can't hold - can it? ha- don' answer that.
14
15:29 manny: thing about that is ... QE would still be on if Macro didnt improve.
15:30 manny: What if fed leaves QE where it is now for remainder of year?
15:30 lendar79: home builders are waiting for new home prices to go up and u have home owners under water ready to
sell:) whats going to happen when price is right for all?
15:31 lendar79: QE it self is not a problem:
15:31 lendar79: lack of reforms is
15:31 manny: Other side of the coin is. Perhaps they dont sell they became solvent and now look, wait, hope for higher
prices
15:31 lendar79: immirgation financial agro tax!
15:32 manny: When NQ reached new highs people didnt sell because they became solvent
15:32 lendar79: do u think that home owners went short in 2007?
15:33 manny: Going "short" is a traders mind set. Dont think home owners operate under that permise.
15:33 lendar79: and thats the point
15:34 lendar79: debt debt debt everywhere u look debt debt debt
15:34 lendar79: and off shore accounts
15:35 manny: Sure but banks are not lending to sub par borrowers as they did before. Quality of new owners is different
15:35 lendar79: they r not borrowing because people dont have good credit score due to 2008 melt down
15:36 manny: I am not saying that things are peachy. Just think modeling against 2008 is flawed
15:36 andy: tics
15:36 lendar79: yes u r right its much WORST
15:37 lendar79: grads sudents with 100k debt looking for 25k jobs great:)
15:38 manny: Yeah thats horrible.
15:38 lendar79: corporations not only not paying any taxes but recieving tax return great:)
15:38 manny: No doubt
15:38 lendar79: collapsing infrastructure awesome
15:39 lendar79: 34 poeple dead in chicago over weekend 2nd amendment awesome:)
15:39 manny: Sounds like youve been reading Zerohedge. LOL
15:39 lendar79: lol
15:40 manny: ;)
15:40 lendar79: prositutes in goverment... here is ur 20$
15:40 lendar79: lol
15:41 manny: All valid points. Heres my thoughts. Protect what I made in this bull run. When the tredn changes to bear
get ready because there will be ALOT of money to be shorting
15:41 manny: Shorts are fast.
15:41 lendar79: ohhh yes
15:41 Rhemabound: lendar - when you draw fibs - ie: AAPL gap up - do you include gap - or start at gap open - or what and where might you see the AAPL retrace (pullback?) too - you did say you were short AAPL puts earlier---15:42 lendar79: the same fib levels
15:42 lendar79: I think 644 is major resistance for aapl
15:43 manny: Ok Im done. Enjoyed the chat Lendar and everyone. Tomorrow fed day fireworks. Going home Long
67.50 with a stop at b/e. I dont care. I had a decent day and shaping up as a grea week. If they want my stop let them come
get it!
15:46 manny: Odds favor a gap up. If im right Ill have a nice cushion to start the day. If im wrong I lose NOTHING. I
can only win.
15:50 lendar79: im going to play $ebay may 57.5 calls and 52.5 puts
15:50 Rhemabound: gnite manny
16:01 Rhemabound: ok - good luck on ebay lendar - g'nite all :)
16:01 lendar79: thx bye:)
