22/11/2013 View in your browser Doings... November 8th 2013 - No. 44 With less than seven weeks until Christmas we have started making some Christmas displays and ideas around the shop. While it is waaaaaaay too early for some of us, we've already had a couple of customers come in with their present list - truly! - so we will drip feed you with some fantastic present ideas as we get them unpacked. Gift vouchers are starting to hot up too - we are working frantically behind the scenes to get the class list done for early 2014, but be assured vouchers can be used for classes. Dominique Rizzo was a huge success - she is such a warm and entertaining person. Her classes on Saturday were a hoot and we hope to have her back next year. Her cooking was generous and abundant - with lots of ideas on ways to extend or adapt her recipes to suit your own family. We have a limited number of her books left in store - pop in and have a look if Sicilian cooking is your thing! The Good Food and Wine Show is on at Southbank in Brisbane this weekend with Sauce in the Fisher & Paykel YUM kitchen on Sunday 10th. With all that going on, there will still be lots happening in the store this Saturday, so if you are not in Brisbane, pop into Sauce !
