Singer Promise: As a singer in Summit Choral Society’s Children’s Choir Program, I agree to make singing in my
school choir a priority while meeting the high expectations of being a Summit Choral Society singer. I pledge to
attend all rehearsals and performances, representing SCS positively in my musical endeavors and behavior.
I hereby grant permission for photographs, video, sound and/or written or verbal accounts of my child to be used in any media
outlet so chosen by Summit Choral Society. This consent shall be retroactive, in that any photograph, video, sound and/or
written or verbal account attained previously or in the future may be used by Summit Choral Society in any media outlet.
Summit Choral Society promises not to use any account of a child in a negative, false, or destructive fashion, By signing below I

Beginning Singing
Registration Fee: $55
Annual Tuition: $350

Payment in Full
Payment by semester
Fall - $175 due on or before the first day of class
Spring - $175 drafted on January 24, 2016 with a qualifying credit card
Payment by month
Tuition due may be divided up into equal monthly payments September through May.
Payments will be drafted automatically from a qualified credit card on the 5th of each Month.
Each installment payment will include a $3 service fee. Depending on exact date of
registration, payments under this plan will be approximately $43 per month.
Annual SCS Red Accessory Rental Fee: $25
This fee pays for the upkeep, maintenance and cleaning of SCS Red Accessories.
What things are included in my tuition?
SCS T-shirt, pencil, music folder, sheet music, SCS singer pins and year bars, Saturday combo
rehearsal lunches, window cling, all classes and instruction, stage rehearsals, concerts, concert
receptions and free SCS students tickets to SCS Masterworks Chorale concerts!
Tuition and fees policy
Enrollment in SCS choirs are an annual commitment, regardless of payment format.
Registration fee and Red Accessory Fee are non-refundable under any circumstances. Tuition
is an annual commitment and is non-refundable. Certain exceptions apply as deemed
appropriate by the Executive Director. These exceptions are handled on a case by case basis.

CONCERT ATTIRE INFORMATION
All Singers
In order to keep the focus of the SCS concerts on the choral artistry of singing and not promote any
visual distractions, all singers are asked to adhere to the following performance attire guidelines on
the concert stage:
Uniform Requirements
All singers wear non-faded dress black slacks fitted at the waist with a black belt, black long-sleeved
button down oxford style collared shirt, black socks (young men), black knee high nylons or dress
black socks (young ladies), close-toe black flat shoes, Red SCS accessories – indicated below.
Hair Requirements
Young Ladies will wear their hair in an inverted ponytail centered in the middle of their head, in line
with their ears. If hair is too short, please pull back off face and secure with bobby pins. Bobby pins
and hair bands should match hair color. Young men preferred cut short and/or pulled back off of
face. Natural occurring hair colors on stage only - unnatural colors distract from the performance!
Jewelry
Young Ladies only may wear small diamond stud or pearl earrings. No facial jewelry please. Watches
covered by sleeves are allowed.
Make-up
Young Ladies may use make-up only to accent and highlight natural features. Nails should be natural
and unpainted – natural color French manicure is allowed.
