ReDECOR accepts items for the purpose of resale. We reserve the right to refuse items based on condition, style, season,
age, safety and duplication of same already in consignment.
TERMS OF CONSIGNMENT
ReDECOR pledges that all accepted items will be placed on the showroom floor as quickly as they can be tagged and
entered into our computerized inventory system. We will make every effort to protect the safety and condition of our
consigned goods. However, ReDECOR cannot be responsible for any damage caused by theft, breakage, fire, natural
disasters or any other unforeseen circumstance.
TERMS OF SALE
The maximum term of consignment is 80 days. After 30 days, the selling price will be reduced by 15%. After 60 days, the
price is reduced an additional 10% (off the original price).
The consignor will receive 50% of the final selling price after the buyers premium has been deducted. Items not sold by
Day 80, must be picked up within 5 days unless arrangements have been made otherwise. At the close of business of day
85, consigned items not retrieved are automatically transferred to ReDECOR’s ownership. They will then be sold at a
discounted price or donated to charity. It is the consignors’ responsibility to track their 80 day consignment period.
ReDECOR reserves the right to request pickup of your item(s) before the expiry date if we find there is no interest.
The consignor warrants that the consigned items were not obtained illegally.
The consignor states that you are the true owner of the item(s) to be consigned.
ReDECOR has the right to photograph the item(s) being sold and retain the images for use in any materials e.g. website
features, marketing literature.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Cheques are issued and available for pick up on the 15th of each month for items sold the previous month. Out of town
consignors will have their cheques mailed. You also have the option to apply your account credit toward any
merchandise for sale in the store. You may use your store credit before the cheque is issued or opt to always run a credit
and only receive a cheque when requested.
Agreement is subject to change.
By signing this document I understand and agree to all statements made on this contract.
