ExpoFerretera is getting ready for a new edition
Less than a year ahead of the most important exhibtion of
hardware products, the organizers are already working in the
new proposals and space commercialization
For more than 20 years, ExpoFerretera, the International Hardware,
Plumbing Parts, Paint and Construction Material Trade Fair, is the
business center of the hardware sector for South America. It is the
only exhibition in its specialty in Argentina which comprises the whole
market of building products manufacturing and machinery, both for
home and industrial use.
In our country, the sector has experienced a sustained growth in the
last years. Currently, it is made up by 1,300 factories throughout the
country, 80 importers, 600 wholesalers and more than 25,000 sales
points (shops, hardware shops, and related stores) which generate
50,000 jobs in regional and neighborhood economies. This way, it
generates an approximate annual movement of $15,000 millions.
Every two years, businessmen, shopkeepers and professionals
gather in this event that, during four days, presents the latest news in
machines, tools, and equipment; general hardware; fixing items,
rivets and screws; construction materials; plumbing parts and gas;
paints, adhesives, sealers and chemical products; electricity; security;
locks and iron fittings, lubrication; gardening; home services and
applications.
Space commercialization has already begun and organizers are
expectant and confident. Ezequiel Gorbarán, Project Manager, said:
“The fair will cover five pavilions of Centro Costa Salguero and we are
receiving many queries, thus this enable us to expect a better edition
compared to the 2015 one. We are working to offer visitors the latest
technologies of the market and the most updated training that enable
them to improve their businesses."

The event is organized jointly by Messe Frankfurt Argentina and the
Argentine Chamber of Hardware Stores and Related Products
(CAFARA).
The fourteenth edition of the fair will be carried out from August 30 to
September 2, 2017 in Centro Costa Salguero and, once again, in
parallel to ExpoCehap and ExpoMant. It will cover an area of 15,000
sqm in which approximately 270 exhibitors of the local and
international sphere will exhibit their products and services.

Event exclusively planned for professionals and businessman of the sector. People under
16 years even attending with an adult will not be admitted.
