Make a One-of-a-Kind Fused Glass Pendant
Monday, December 14th at 5:45 pm
The ladies from Xpresssions Yarn and Bead
Boutique will be at the Library to help people create a
truly one-of-a-kind glass pendant. Participants will be
able to choose from a large variety of colors to create a
fused glass pendant that will be totally unique due to the
firing process it goes through. The cost to make one
pendant is $12. The finished product will need to be
picked up or mailed to you at a later date. Registration is
necessary and prepayment is appreciated.
These pendant necklaces make ideal gifts. Pendants can
be created by people of all ages and artistic ability.
Ribbon chains can be purchased separately.
Maze Runner Movie Marathon
Maze Runner @ 4 pm
Scorch Trials @ 6 pm
Free Pizza, Cookies, and Juice @ 5:45 pm
Join us to watch these popular sci-fi movies based on
James Dashner’s best selling young adult books. In the
Maze Runner, Thomas is deposited in a community of
boys after his memory is erased, soon learning they’re all
trapped in a maze that will require him to join forces with
fellow “runners” for a shot at escape.
In the sequel, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, the
Gladers, who have escaped the maze, now face a new set
of challenges on the open roads of a desolate landscape
filled with unimaginable obstacles.
Both of these films are rated “PG-13”. Children ages
11 - 13 need parental permission to attend the
showings. Children under the age of 11 need to be
accompanied by an adult to attend the program.
This is a free, drop-in event. Bring along blankets and
pillows for a more comfortable viewing. The program
will end at approximately 8:15 pm.
Letters to Santa
Mr. Claus has asked the Library to help him collect your
letters again this year. Remember to tell him how good
you have been this year and all about the presents you
want. Make sure to include your name and address on
your letter so he is sure to find your mailbox.
Letters should be placed in the special mailbox at the
Library. We are collecting letters starting Nov 30th.
Please make sure to get your letter to the Library by Friday, Dec 18th so Santa Claus gets your request on time.
