When Eve was tempted by the serpent to eat from the forbidden fruit she
did so and gave some to her husband. This was the beginning of sin and
the identification of our greatest enemy. Consider the following questions:

Throughout the pages of the Bible, God defines His greatest enemy. In
Genesis 3, he is identified as the serpent. Yet, he has been given many
names. Let’s examine a few. Read the following and note his name(s):

Focus now upon Revelation 12:10-12. In verse 10, we read about the future
of our greatest enemy. What will happen to him in the end? Verse 11 then
explains how we can overcome him. What three ways are mentioned within
this one verse? Finally, in verse 12 we see how we can respond to these
truths and how he will. What do we learn?

The future of our greatest enemy is certain. Because of Jesus Christ we
can have victory of sin, death, and even our greatest enemy – the Devil!
